I think the frig makes a lot of diff noises but you don't notice unless the house is quiet. I did find out that a standard cooking (cookie) sheet does not fit width wise in the side-by-side freezer. So keep that in mind if you have a need to do that, I preserve so I flash freeze this way and had to get a smaller sheet to use. I have had it 1.5y and not had any issues as of yet.

Fridge beautiful, but plastic packaging not!!

When we received it however it was covered with protective plastic. The techs attempted to remove as much of it as possible, but couldn't get it all. I thought it would be easy to just tear the rest off myself, boy was I wrong!!! Seems like the parts were assembled after the plastic had been applied. There were plastic remnants hanging off the edges everywhere and when I tried to remove them it just got worse. I had to spend over an hour using a razor blade to try to cut it off cleanly. Infuriating and certainly nothing I had the time or patience for after dropping $1,200 on a refrigerator!! Still not perfect and I can see where there is still plastic is jammed in the seams of the doors. So disappointing!!! All this being said, again, the refrigerator is great and huge.
