Great 4K curved monitor for gaming and work

This Samsung curved monitor has been a great upgrade for both gaming and productivity. The 4K image is sharp, colors are vibrant, and the 165 Hz refresh rate makes games feel very smooth, especially fast-paced titles and flight simulators. The curve helps immersion and makes the screen easier to read from edge to edge. The menu takes a little time to get used to and the stand is quite large, so you need enough space on the desk. Built-in speakers are also nothing special, so I still prefer using external audio. Overall, it’s an excellent monitor with strong performance and image quality, just a few small drawbacks that keep it from being perfect.

Who knew switching from two 27 inch monitors to one 37 inch would make such a difference in the way I game and use my PC's. I have my Mac mini hooked up to it as well. I never really liked how Windows handled HDR before with my other monitors but this one has convinced me that my previous monitors were a bit lacking in that department and it wasn't the operating systems fault but my panels just were not up to the task. 😒 This is my first curved monitor and never really thought what a difference it makes. Guess who has a lot of research to do? This monitor is absolutely gorgeous. Only thing that would have been cool is that if I could have rotated it on the stand that came with it. No biggie just nit picking. Had to complain about something about this monitor. Be careful when taking it out the box and mounting the base to it. I almost broke it not paying attention to the instructions. Nice color reproduction and the brightness and contrast are very good. I basically plugged it in and changed the onboard setting to game standard and I haven't had a need to adjust anything else. Please go see this if you can in person. I think you' will like it and pick it up. Gamer or coder, you will like this one.

I recently purchased the Samsung 37" Odyssey G75F, and I’m genuinely impressed with how much it has elevated my gaming experience. The 4K resolution combined with the 165Hz refresh rate makes everything incredibly sharp and smooth. Picture quality is excellent out of the box, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and solid HDR600 performance.

Was looking for a monitor that could give me the biggest screen real estate for both PC and console gaming. Since I'm using a console I did not want an ultra wide monitor. So this one and its 40 inch counterpart by the same company seemed to fit the bill. But the 40 inch one was just too big for my desk. Knowing this is a VA panel I had some concerns but went ahead because the price was good. I'm glad I did, because the monitor has very good black levels and color and it does not have any discernible light bleed or other anomalies. Yes you will need to change some of the settings in it to make the picture as good as it can be for whatever source you're using. But for the price it was on sale for I feel like it's perfect. The monitor is packaged well and comes with all the cords you will need. The curvature of the monitor takes a little getting used to but as was advertised it makes everything more immersed. Keep in mind that this monitor does not have any speakers.

Even though I use a 32 inch curved monitor I still wanted to see how big I could make my games appear without resorting to console stuff on a TV, which I hate ( because controllers suck). So I got this on sale on the holiday and Wow, words don't do it justice. Sharp, clear and refresh rates are perfect. If you want big screen gaming with your PC this is the way to go.

I had been using a Samsung UJ59 (32" 4K) and I was expecting very little difference in picture quality. I was mistaken, the difference is substantial. I can see more rows on my spreadsheets, the text appears sharper, the colors are bright. I also downloaded the software from Samsung's website and changed the refresh to 60hz (I'm not a gamer). The monitor's swivels horizontally more than any other monitor and slides up and down and tilts forward/backward -- more adjustable than any other monitor I've used. No speakers in the monitor, but I knew that when I bought it. Plus I'm using external speakers anyway (Edifier R1380db's if you must know). Great for work, for streaming.

You could add something like this to keep it balanced and honest without sounding too negative: I mainly purchased this monitor after upgrading my GPU to an RTX 4090, and I personally don’t care much for ultrawide monitors. This was the best size and value I could find for the price. So far, it’s been amazing. That said, if you’re coming from an OLED monitor, you probably won’t be quite as impressed. The colors aren’t as rich or deep as OLED, but it’s also nowhere near OLED pricing. With a little tweaking in the settings, you can actually get the blacks looking pretty good, especially for gaming. The main downside for me is the lack of official G-SYNC support, which would’ve made this monitor nearly perfect for NVIDIA users. Still, for $599 with these specs, it was honestly a no-brainer. The size, 4K resolution, and 165Hz refresh rate make games look fantastic, especially paired with a high-end GPU.

Really love the size of this screen and that it is not OLED. My previous screen was OLED and I was constantly worried about burn in. The colors on this screen are great, and even thought they might not be as "vibrant" as an OLED, it still comes pretty close.

Got it for someone as a Christmas gift and they really loved it. Good for any casual gamers, screen is huge and despite the fact that it’s only 4k it still feels pretty immersive. No built in speakers tho but luckily already had speakers on hand. Just be aware in case you don’t.

Four stars is its missing a few more features for the inputs the auto switch can be a little crazy when yuh have two input on the monitor besides that is great for splitting the screen for multiple windows when working or when using spreadsheets. Works fantastically with my Xbox series x it’s like having a mini tv.

I needed to buy a monitor as a last-minute emergency, and I could not believe the value I was able to find (it was on sale, too). The clarity and color is beautiful, and the size of the screen is an immense upgrade. Assembly was painless and straight forward, and it runs greats. Even powered off, it looks beautiful on my desk, and it's improved my work productivity immensely. I definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a large and clear screen for work or who would benefit from a large, color-accurate screen for movies and gaming.

I had some reservations getting this monitor as I didn’t even know going into the store that Samsung had this 37” 16:9 1440 curved as an offering. I decided to pick it up as I thought it would be amazing for flight sim and racing games. Monitor was packaged well and unboxing was straight forward, this monitor felt heavy but seemed to be constructed well. The picture quality, sharpness and colors looked great but I could never get the HDR dialed in to a point where I wanted to even turn it on. The aggressive curve on such a large screen was awesome but did require you to sit in one spot right in the center of the screen and don’t you dare move your head or you will see some blooming. Also, the curve caused some of my games to create this odd circle light reflection effect that I could never resolve. Lastly, this may have been just my monitor but unfortunately I experienced some sort of light escaping between the edge of the screen and the bezel, it occurred in two places and seemed to be some sort of manufacturing defect. I ended up returning because to me for the price I spent ($650 on sale almost $700 after tax) quality issues like that shouldn’t exist, and even though the screen looked good for a VA, I don’t think it looked all that much better than my 4 year old $200 Dell.

Great monitor colors are good. Motion is good for refresh rate is good. Obviously it won’t give you the inky blacks of a OLED but a fantastic monitor my only issue and really a minor gripe and the reason I don’t give it 5 stars is for the price It should’ve came with built-in speakers,

I'm happy with it, Its been a huge upgrade for me. The curved display is very immersive which works great if you only use the display for yourself. If sharing the screen or looking at angles, i would consider a flat monitor. The 37" is borderline too big for my application as I sit very close. I'm getting used to it and may consider mounting on the wall to get a little more distance. The only complaint would be some very minor flickering that has occurred mainly when watching partial screen in youtube. I think its related to the adaptive sync toggling refresh rates. Could also be my graphics card drivers. I'm not super tech savvy and only experienced this in partial screen in youtube. I'll look more into it. Overall I'm happy. I wanted a decent 4k curved monitor that wouldn't break the bank. The display looks great playing games and I'm happy with the purchase. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 is the minor flickering observed which may or may not be a setting issue.

This is a great monitor. Setup was straightforward. It has great range in terms of screen height and tilt so it's easy to get the perfect viewing angle. The curved screen takes a bit of time to get used to but greatly improves the experience when watching videos. Windows users who are older or have slight visual impairment will appreciate its ability to display larger fonts. At 25 pounds, it's a bit awkward to move the entire monitor, but that's a minor nit. Highly recommended.

Pretty happy with this purchase. It is my first stwp into the above 1080p monitor space and what an improvment it is. For a fledgling Sim gamer this is a great step toward more immersive gaming.
