If this is a consistent issue that is happening all the time, then I suspect it may have to do with the way the monitor is setup with your computer.

They help with some things, but I would spend the extra money to get a better resolution rate. First world problems, I know, but as a photographer, I would rather have a higher quality resolution to view my pictures on when I make edits. Still, if you just need something to help you have a 2nd/3rd screen, then this one will suffice.
