I bought this for my wife for our anniversary: however, she decided that she didn't want a nee TV, so I had to return it. That being said, it is a good product that I would recommend you buy if looking for a nice and inexpensive TV..

Purchased this TV around the holidays while on sale and have been impressed thus far. I needed something for friends to play Xbox One on when visiting, and to watch Netflix on at night via a Roku. No Smart-TV functionality here, but I didn't need any. Speakers are a bit lackluster, but I use headphones via my Roku remote. All around a nice TV, great for the price, if you need a good picture and aren't worried about sound quality or Smart-TV apps. I only regret not buying a second one for side-by-side gaming.

40" works perfectly for the room. The picture quality is great. Easy to set up. I'm very happy.

We bought this tv for out grandmother who has never had a flat screen. We thought this model would be great since it wasn't a Smart tv. She didn't need all the choices of Pandora, Hulu, etc. This one works perfect for her. She loves it!

This is a very basic TV that is easy to step up out of the box. The picture and sound is excellent. I chose this model because I use separate streaming devices. The remote is well designed and easy to read. The connections on the back of the set are easy to get to especially the HDMI ports where I use a Fire Stick which plugs in and fits easily. I highly recommend the Samsung brand. Stay away from the cheaper brands the sound is not as good as a Samsung you'll end up needing a sound bar for the cheaper brands.

in the world of 4K 120 hz televisions that stream all the latest apps you can throw at it, a step back can be a very good change of pace. This TV is 1080 x 1920 pixels (height by width) at 60hz. It's got LED back lighting (side-lit) which means the LED are positioned on the perimeter behind the screen. This provides a very bright and evenly lit pictures. I actually had to bump the brightness down so it fit into the ambiance of our offices "low key" work space. The picture is great and using it is very easy.

great tv. i only wish i knew how to adjust the sound quality. i'm hard of hearing and the volume just makes it louder when i need it to be clearer. other than that, i love this tv.

I got this for my Mom. Great picture and easy setup. Though it doesn't play well with the DIrecTV remote for one remote use. Though not sure if that is a Samsung or DirecTV issue.

Long story short, our 42inch LG plasma tv was damaged. Needed a tv to replace it. Went to best buy and looked at some tv and this Samsung tv caught my eye. Price was reasonable (it was not on sale), Quality was good, just a little smaller (bought a 54nch). Ultimately, I am happy with my purchase.

Very good quality tv, easy set up, but had no screw to put it on the wall, had to find my own, later learned all new Samsung tv does not include wall mount crews as they usually do
