40inch Samsung HD is a great buy

It would be great if it wasn't broken.

My issue is that I paid for an open box product, that was in perfect condition. What I received was damaged. It has an area towards the top of the screen that appears wrinkled. It didn't bother me enough to take it back, but it is a bit annoying.

Great TV and Brand for basic viewing

Both are good depending on the purpose of use. If you want all the apps and extra bells and whistles upgrade to the smart TV otherwise stick with this solid model. Overall, great experience with my Samsung TVs.

Excellent Replacement TV

She had purchased a 32" Sony a few years ago, but the Samsung 40" was less now than her purchase before. For the price and the additional size, we figured we'd take the Best Buy sale deal during Super Bowl season. What a GREAT UPDATE!

Great TV

All of my tvs I buy are Samsung mainly because you get great quality at a good price. I was a little concerned about it not being a smart tv but my IT guy assured me that it's better to use a fire stick or other device to get the apps. Everything has been great!
