Picture quality and sound are great as well. Definitely bought the geeksquad extended warranty just be safe, but overall I'm very pleased.

Great tv

Great for first flat screen

Don't buy

There are areas where the pixels don't work. We were told that if we wanted a new one we would have to pay an additional $190 bc TV was on sale when we bought it. We extremely upset that Best Buy will not take care of this issue. We were told to "call the place where we bought it" when we called Best Buy about this issue. When we stated that we are, they told us there is nothing they can do r/t it being 30 days since it was bought. What I don't understand is when you buy something as a gift for Christmas on black Friday, am I suppose to open the item, set it up to ensure that it works and then put it back in the box and wrap it?

Solid choice

Since he has a playstation 4 the Smart TV features were not necessary. Purchased this on sales in the $200 and it had one of the best pictures compared to other comparably priced sets.

Great deal on a 40in TV
