Purchased for a friend at Xmas. She had no need for 'Smart ' features and this TV fit the bill perfectly. A good performer for the price. Just what she needed.

A good TV. One problem is that it is a bit slow changing channels.

The TV is overall great, great quality for the dollar. The only issue I am having is when I hook my tv up to my computer through HDMI. My Chromecast works fine, but the screen is just my desktop but there is no movement.

Awesome picture quality! Easy setup. Definitely a great choice for those who don't want a smart tv. Even with an antenna, the reception quality is outstanding.

bought it for mom on birthday she loves it she had a 32 now its a 40 great picture and she complimented the sound first easy set up

I have a Sony 40 inch and its picture seems a bit sharper than this Samsung, but this unit is an excellent buy for the price. In all fairness it really needs a side by side but these two units are in separate rooms.

I have always bought Samsung TV and has never given me problems. This one is no different and for the sale price, It was a very good buy for a 1080p and 40inch TV.

This tv looks really nice. The picture and sound quality is great. Only complaint is that it only has one component video and it also shares the Av inputs. Makes it complicated to use older components with it. Has many hdmi inputs.

It's not the very best you can get, but Samsung consistently makes good quality tvs for slightly above-average price.

How can you go wrong spending less than $300 for a 40" TV with a sharp picture from a brand name product. I only miss that the TV does not have an ear phone jack

This tv has a beautiful picture that is very clear. The setup was easy with an attachable base that was simple to install. It's easy to use with great sound.

Samsung TV is excellent right out of the box. The picture quality is fantastic you could not ask for anything better.

Read good reviews on this tv from different websites, needed a simple tv for a lounge area. It stays on almost everyday all day and we have been very pleased.

It's a great tv at a great price. The only thing I don't like is that there should be a better selection of apps. I wish Spotify was on there. Other than that it's a great tv. Simple smart tv, but no browser
