Huge crystal clear picture. Bright and sharp. Bought this to replace an old tv I had in my bedroom. Fills my room with picture and sound. The smart function works perfectly. Now I have no need for any other machines in order to watch Netflix or Amazon. Nice feature. Very happy with this product.

I recommend this TV totally. A great picture with great sound. I bought this for an extra bedroom and it works nicely. Best Buy - New Braunfels, Texas had one on an open box deal. Ashley, the supervisor/manager made my day today!! She was great with the price adjustment and very courteous.

This is a basic 40" tv. The picture and sound quality is outstanding. Best value for your money.

I bought this TV with high hopes, especially after all of the rave reviews. I knew it was only a 60hz, but I thought I would give it a try. I have a 55" Samsung 7100 240hz 3D Smart TV, so I know Samsung delivers a good product. I've done hours of research on TV's to understand the Hz and all that good stuff. So, Best Buy was great, they price matched the TV for me and I was on my way. I got it home, hooked it up and started watching TV. The hook up, took maybe 10 minutes, if that. Super easy. As I was watching TV I noticed a lag in the picture. The next scene would come and there were pixels left from the prior scene. I had been watching for about 30 minutes and it was already driving me nuts! By then, I had decided it was going back. The picture was pixelating, it had a lag, I was not impressed at all. I have no idea how this TV has gotten such good reviews. It's a 60 hz TV and the picture and the blur left behind a fast moving object, is that of a 60 hz TV. If you are okay with that, by all means, get this TV. I was not. I went back and got the Samsung 40" 6350 120hz Smart TV. Wow! What a difference! Its a true 120hz TV, there is no lag in the picture and the picture is crisp. Many TV's descriptions are very deceiving. Some show a "Clear motion 120hz." This is NOT 120hz TV, it's a 60hz. The Best Buy guy tried telling me that the hz didn't really matter, it was the processor inside that made a difference. Well, this TV must have a slow processor, cause the TV can't keep up with the picture. Do yourself a favor, upgrade from this TV. Get a TRUE 120hz, you'll be glad you did.

Just received this TV. Very clear and bright picture, good sound for just TV speakers. Perfect size TV for my room as well and at $280 it's a great price for a Samsung TV! I totally recommend if all you need is just a regular TV.

We love this TV - vivid color and sharp picture. Nice, simple TV. Like the remote. Works great with just antenna. Like it better than our Sony Bravia Smart TV. I'd recommend this and a Roku box vs any smart TV, actually. Although I suppose we should try adjusting Sony settings.

I purchased this television for my mom. It was lightweight, easy to mount, and has great picture and sound. For the price, we are very satisfied with the purchase!

The picture looks good, I have my Xbox One hooked up to it. I have seen it look better on some tv's , but this is not bad for the price i got for it. Better than most, just not the best. The TV is really light, almost feels cheap made. Not a fan of the remote either.

I bought this TV during the Christmas season and it was at a great price. I researched all other TVs in its class and this was by far the best deal. I didn't want a low end brand like Vizio. The picture is sharp and the profile is sleek.

had a larger lg that died on me, so this was a replacement tv for a bedroom. decided on a smaller, basic tv for this room and since i have had good experiences with samsung, this worked for me. the only issue, thus far, is the remote - just don't like the layout, too small for my hands.

Gave this as a Christmas present to my father and he loves it. Looks great, and sleek in the living room and has nice picture quality. We don't have a high definition subscription, but overall we are high pleased!

the tv looks great, my mom and dad had an older tv and wasn't quite in the HDTV world yet.. when they old one broke thought it was time to get them a better tv which they now love

Got this TV in October of 2015, and it's still going strong. Got it after my 50" high-end Samsung plasma died, and this one has a PQ which is almost as good. Doesn't quite match the plasma, but the plasma was also a $1,000 more. Having spent years with a high-end TV, and now this one, I would say this is a nice mid-range TV. PQ: 8.5 out of 10. Even though it doesn't quite match the plasma (which is partly due to the technology), it's still very, very good. Very crisp and clear. Picture adjustment features 8 out of 10. The old plasma had a TON of PQ features, from everything from color to saturation, etc. Not quite as many features, but still good. Sound adjustment features: 8 out of 10. Still not quite as good as the old plasma, but still very good. Overall, it's a great TV. A year in and no problems to speak of whatsoever.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my sister. After setting it up, she called to thank me again, saying how much better the picture was than her previous TV. Definitely a quality TV for the purchase price.

I bought this one when it was on sale .. like 299 .. I get it because I want to change my 32inch in my room .. and it was great .. esp for gaming ..

The picture quality on this TV is phenomenal. The price was also a bargain for the quality that you get.

Excellent TV at a nice deal of $224. Sound quality is good and am using it without any external speakers.

TV is not for a living room and not for a master bedroom for people that watches a lot of TV. If you are looking for a TV for daughter/son, I would suggest this TV. Very good quality.
