The 40 inch is perfect for a bedroom. Easy setup and looks sharp :)

Television died and we needed a quick purchase, read reviews on the Best Buy site, went up and picked this one. So far ,s good !

I use this product with my desktop computer, my monitor and my 5.1 A/V receiver. Setup was easy, and the picture was an improvement over my previous 32 inch Samsung. Finally, I didn't need a Smart HD television, which is more expensive, since I stream my internet connection through my desktop pc and then onto this product.

I saw this in the open box pile at the local store marked down to $180. At this price it is a decent buy. Without the discount, I can not recommend it. Picture quality is not very good. The dimensions are horribly thick (deep) compared to larger models but in my application, it is not a problem. So, if you think you are getting a slim TV, look again. No smart features but that was not important, either.

Bought one, set it up and unless you sit directly in front of this the picture washes out, took it back as Best Buy said it may be faulty, brought another back, same problem. I know that angle viewing is touchy on these TV's but this one is ridiculous. Nothing could be done to make it anything but washed out/white from more than about 15 degrees could not be more disappointed.

This tv is the best one I've ever purchased. Great picture and sound. Although the instructions in the manual could be a little more detailed they're not too hard for the average person to figure out. If you just want to watch tv without all the bells and whistles, I'd highly recommend this product.

Good value for the price - limited HDMI inputs (2), but not a problem if you know the limitations in advance.

This tv I purchased here is being used only for the RV. I did not get the smart tv. Instead bought a blue ray player with the apps. The player does everything a smart tv would do. Saved quite a bit dollars buying a plain tv. Quality is perfect and for now Samsung is the only tv I buy.

Needed to replace the television in my bedroom. Old television was a 25" flat screen, looking for something in the 32" range. The television had to be able to sit on a 23" table, which is a challenge - The TV's have feet toward both ends of the set tend to be about 24" apart, and didn't really see anything I liked in the store with a pedestal-type base in the 32" class. So just for grins I looked at the 40", and found this one. Has the pedestal base from the center rather than the feet on the side, and I've always done well with Samsung products. Maybe a little silly to base a purchase on the kind of stand it comes on, but hey, it filled the need. It's a little bit big for a master bedroom, though.

if you like Samsung tvs then you will not be disappointed with this model for the price

We bought this with a gift card, so we enjoyed the fact that it was reasonably priced. Event thru leaving it on for extended periods of time like falling asleep and marathon orange is the new black, the tv still works great and I would buy it again!

Bought this TV for a Christmas present. Product was used a few times in a spare bedroom and just stopped working. SAMSUNG customer service and warranty coverage is absolute garbage. They did not want to honor their warranty and BestBuy did not honor their warranty of 1 year either. I took theTV into service repair shop, only to find out that the mother board and main panel were fried. No use fixing because it was more than the price of the unit. I will never purchase any item by Samsung or Best Buy do to this experience.

Green tinge to red colors. Dynamic picture setting seems to be the best, with the Standard and Movie settings producing slightly more dark/shadowy coloring. Comparable Sony and Sharp sets that I saw at a different retailer after buying this Samsung, looked to have more vivid colors in sharper relief. Wasn't sure if this issue was specific to my TV but I was slightly disappointed with my purchase.

We own 3 of these TV's. Bought one earlier in July and recently purchased 2 more for Christmas gifts. We are very very happy with them. Great picture & color. Will probably be buying another one later this year. Highly recommended.

this basic tv makes a good size for my studio. 60 hertz motion rate is not an issue. crisp images and good sound quality in my opinion. no problem so far, been using it for 3 weeks. i can always trust Samsung.

I am totally satisfied with this TV so far. Picture and sound are excellent. Just fits in the space available in my decor. Also, setup by Geek Squad was a very good experience.

I am so pleased with my t.v. It came really fast and so easy to operate. The picture quality is amazing. From now on, all of my electronic purchases, will be with best buy.
