Overall good picture, but the TV had a shadow/bruise in the center of the screen. I'll be a seeking a replacement but something like that right out of the box is ridiculous.

Such a good price and purchase! I love this brand. The picture quality is excellent. I have other tvs in this brand and they last even through multiple moves!

I have bought many different brands from Best Buy and this has been my favorite one. The picture is extremely clear and the perfect size tv for any room.

When ever I purchase a HDTV it is a Samsung. Out of all the TV I've looked at no other brand quite has that crisp picture clarity tha Samsung offered.

got this on sale for my grandma who just wants the screen to be clear. good price and quality is very good. would definitely recommend to a friend

Purchased Thanksgiving Day 2015. Picture is washed out and not vibrant like a $300 50" RCA I got earlier this year. Used THX app to fine tune Brightness, Contrast, and Color, but adjusted settings were still close to default. Another internet reviewer was unable to balance settings for a good picture as well. Checked out AVSforum and discovered IF02 is an Innolux panel. Will be returning to store as there's better picture quality available for not much more or even less money.

Love the picture and sound quality of this TV. By far Samsung is the best when it comes to TV's

After installing the full motion wall mount it was time to hook up the TV. I took it out the box, put it on the mount, turned it on, and found it had about a 4" wide bar running vertically on the left middle portion of the screen. The bar was noticeably lighter than the rest of the screen. It still showed the picture on the TV but the "bar" was a lighter shade. I tried different channels, non HD channels, HD channels.... all the same. I read a great deal of positive reviews on this TV and hope it is just a rare defect. I plan on returning it and getting the same TV with no issues. We will see how it goes. I would not recommend it unless the TV I exchange it for works.

Picture good, sound good, price even better. Only downfall is that no hdmi port on side all in back of tv making it hard to have wires in back when putting on wall

This tv had been great. The picture quality is awesome. I used my Best Buy reward points to get it. Well worth it.

Great tv for the bedroom.Purchased a larger Samsung for the living room and liked it so much I bought this one too.

I bought this Samsung in Feb 2016 for my dad. He has enjoyed it tremendously. Would highly recommend!

All we needed was a tv for a guest bedroom and this is perfect. Picture and sound are excellent.

the samsung 40" has great picture, easy to use remote/control features, and was easy to set up
