I like the tv. For the price I would highly recommend. Samsung tvs usually have the best picture and the best quality. My next purchase will definitely be a Samsung.

We purchased this television because we wanted a larger screen television for our livingroom. The clarity is clear, the sound great we're very pleased with this purchase.

We had an older Samsung 40" larger borders and 720 p, which we originally hah in the living room, but had replaced with a 55" 1080p Samsung a few years ago. The new 40" is much more compact and has much better picture. At under $300, it was about 1/5 the cost of the old 40" it replaced. The old 40" is in guest room. We didn't go with the smart tv version as we can always add another Apple TV.

I bought this to replace a smaller tv. The picture is great but at times, when I've been on the same channel awhile, it appears to go into a sleep mode and the picture doesn't appear to be as bright. Other than that it's great.

Love everything about this TV: the clarity of the picture, the sound, the size of the screen. Great tv for the price

Samsung 40" LED TV has a great picture, and seems to hold picture quality in action scenes as well as normal tv viewing. My second Samsung, for a reason, good quality.
