Purchased this to replace a TV for the bedroom. Works very good. Fit into my space perfectly. Sound is good for the bedroom. Didn't need a smart TV.

Good TV with good overall picture quality, especially for the price. Using the TV in a den so 40' size is adequate. Only knock is the speakers / sound quality, may add a sound bar to help with dialogue.

Just needed a 40" tv without all the frills. The picture is clear, the sound through my old receiver is good. For a low cost tv it does very well.

I upgraded from an insignia 37" TV that died after two years. Much crisper sound and clearer picture.

I've had this TV for several months now -- it's very light for its size, the picture quality is excellent, and it interfaces with all of my smart devices without any difficulties. The sound quality is great too. Overall, love it!

Loved the TV. Setting up was easy. Picture quality is fantastic. One thing I didn't like was the lack of ability swivel the screen around the stand.

Based on my personal experience with a 40" Samsung LED, I think the Xmas special was a very good deal. Have not heard any complaints from family.
