The picture is beautiful on this TV and so is the visual quality. Although I've only had it for a short time, I am very pleased with it.

GRAPHICS IS GREAT. GOOD BACK LIGHTING. IT IS A GOOD SIZE FOR A ROOM. AND THE SOUND SYSTEM BY ITS SELF IS LOUD EVEN WITH OUT A OUTSIDE SPEAKER.

Now the football players look like players and not tiny ants running about. Good sound and clear picture.

Good picture quality and basic features, I'm using it in my bar area. I ended paying a little for this one for the reliability of Samsung.

I've only had this television for a few weeks, but it meets my needs. It's not watched very often, but when it is, it delivers. A recent guest to my home commented about the HD quality which I hadn't paid any attention, however, it was explained that it is a big deal, so I guess this one pass the test.

This is the best TV at this price point. The picture is nice and sharp, and the sound isn't too bad at all. Delicately worth considering.

great picture and perfect size for bedroom. was very disappointed to find out I had to order this. stores only carry smart tv's now. how sad

My mother is 77yrs old the tv has great clarity in picture and sound. The remote is very simple for her to use. Thank you.

It is the perfect size for what I needed in a small bedroom. Very happy with all the features and ease of connecting with universal remote.

When I first turned on this TV to an HD movie (Kingdom of Heaven) I let out some spontaneous "holy this or that" expostulations. Of course, I was upgrading from an Insignia 32" so maybe I was too easy to please, but I've had decent-sized TVs before and still this picture tops my previous experience, with beautiful cinema-quality tones, crisp lines and rich deep blacks, The unusually detailed and intuitive Menu allows easy fine-tuning of pretty much anything you'd want to adjust, although after some experimentation I reverted to the default settings, which actually had it best. In HD this TV can actually convey something far closer to what movie directors had in mind, which we don't usually ask TVs to do. That said, I've had some disappointment with recorded shows (e.g., a Game of Thrones episode accidentally recorded not in HD) where the whole screen developed a pastiche of purple and other-color artifacts which formed a kind of messy pixilated transluscent layer that didn't move with the picture. Quite distracting and bothersome since I'd had friends over to watch it. I have no idea why the TV did this, despite some Google cruising for answers, although truly I haven't noticed it at other times so it's not a running problem. But it shook my faith in the TV's capacity to interpret not-so-great on-line recordings. And of course if you care about sound quality at all you'll want a sound bar or other external speakers, as the sound on all these flat screen TVs is typically very mediocre and this one is no exception. Just be sure your external speakers can sync to your remote - I tried and had to return a Vizio sound bar that didn't.

We were looking for a new 40 IN TV. After doing some research we decided that this TV would be reliable and we got it at a very good price

I was replacing an analog TV so this was quite an improvement. It was easy to set up. But I would have liked more operating instructions.
