After having 2 Vizios go bad just beyond warranty, I wanted a better brand for a new house. Bought 3 different size Samsung's between black Friday and Xmas. This 40" one as well as the 58 and 32. Had a 28 for a year too. All have great pictures and features. All are 1080's or 720's. The 4k models on display had no visible advantage I could see. The 58, 40, and older 28 have good sound, the 32 not so much, but good enough for the bedroom. Analog audio output would have been nice to hook to an old stereo or computer speakers, oh well. One new one was a smart tv. Buying a WiFi Roku stick eliminates ever using the Samsung smart feature, it's simpler and much more versatile. We buy Amazon, Netflix, and Sling blue. Along with good antennas for local TV, there is no need for anything else except broadband internet. Works at home, vacation house, and my business location. As well a an Ipad anywhere there is WiFi. The Samsung non smart TV, outside or attic antennas, and broadband Roku is the set up I prefer. I'd buy Samsung again.

Purchased to use as an extra monitor for the computer. Purchased as an open box scratch and sent and works great.
