Great picture and sound

I went down to my local Best Buy and asked them to price match. They not only matched it for me, but they used the same price for two other customers that were looking at the same TV. It was a Christmas present to me and my wife and we could not be happier with the purchase.

Good Basic TV

They do not record shows or own a DVR and don't require any "smart TV" features. Samsungs project a great picture, nice an clear. One feature I found missing on this TV that is on my older same size Samsung is that the screen does not have a swivel. It is fixed in the base.

Solid Performer For A Basic TV

We anticipated just hooking up an antenna and plugging in a Chromecast and calling it good. Well, It all functions fine but the HDMI input jacks come straight out of the back so the Chromecast wouldn't fit between the TV and the wall. We ultimately cut a small hole in the wall next to the mount for the Chromecast to fit into. Not the ideal situation but it works. With the number of TVs that are wall-mounted these days, perhaps side inputs or more recessed back inputs would be better.

TV for daughter in college

She streams, watches things like Netflix, music channels and exercise channels. We combined it with an Apple TV connection, because she has all Apple products. She can do power points and homework assignments right on the TV!! She loves it and so do we!
