I have owned 5 Samsung TVs previously and needed a smaller set for an extra room. The size and price were perfect for my needs and it is hooked up to a DirecTV Genie. Portability and reception make this an exceptional value.

Overall, it's a great TV. Excellent picture with cool features (including apps), and it connects to the Internet. The only bummer is the Internet-related features take a while to connect (even with really fast Internet), and I had minor issues with Netflix and Hulu at times. When I accessed Netflix/Hulu via my blu-ray player, the issues didn't occur. This might very though based on the quality of your wifi or other factors. Most importantly for me, the TV is great for watching movies.

I love the picture quality and sound....excellent pixelation. One thing Samsung could do better on this TV is to have a better response time on the smart Option. There is an annoying latency before the smart TV option activate when u select something from the remote

Great picture; much better than my 3 year old Sony HD. The price was certainly a plus and the Geek Squad did an outstanding job of installing the TV on a wall. The 40 inch size was a perfect for the room where it is viewed.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Size is right for my living room. Picture is clear, especially with HD. Quality sound. Haven't used many of the smart features, but I'm sure it will be worth it since I got this on sale!

Samsung does it again. Super easy to setup and is loaded with tons of tons of features. It comes with quite a few apps already loaded (just need to log into your accounts) & more from the store to download. It even has DLNA to stream your media from your network!

Very easy to use. Didn't have to read the manual to figure things out since it's that simple to use. Would of gave it 5 stars but there are times when my screen mirroring connection would cut off while watching a movie. Other than that everything works great

Love this tv, wifi availability with Netflix already installed as an app and others allows my son to not have to watch the same DVDs over and over. It has a great picture when playing games and watching tv. Love this tv!

Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The quality of the TV is fantastic and the fact that we can stream different apps like Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime, etc. makes it that much better. These features has me considering canceling my cable.

I was really surprised at the quality of the picture and even the sound on this tv, especially for the price. The biggest selling point for me was that it plays videos directly from a USB stick. Well worth every penny!

I love the beautiful vibrant picture and everything about this Samsung Smart TV has to offer. The only thing is it's only 40 inch, I would love a 60 inch or bigger, however it was bought for my room so it's perfect.

Love the TV. Easy to set up and the picture is outstanding. My next TV will be the same. This one is used on my xbox one and when I need a new TV for my regular viewing, I will get the same brand just a little larger.

We bought this TV for ourselves a year ago and loved it so much we bought this one for our son this year. clear picture sound is great! We the love the smart tv features and being able to pull up internet and Netflix.

This was very easy to set up. Works seamlessly with our Xbox, local TV, and all our streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, HBO). The picture quality is ok, not amazing, but what I would expect for the price I paid.

I am very pleased with this purchase, not only a great value, but a great TV. Easy hookup, great picture quality, and even the sound's not bad. I would recommend, and consider purchasing another, for different room.

Purchased this tv for my master bedroom. It has SMART capability and built-in WiFi, the picture is really good too. for the price point and size I was looking for (40") I would recommend highly.

I purchased this tv the other week and I have zero complaints. It has a great pitcher and and the internet doesn't cut out like it does on my other smart tv. Im impressed and this is a great buy for a great tv!

I was very pleased with the 32" Samsung tv that I was using. So I moved up to the "Smart" 40" Samsung when I thought the price justified it. My observations: 1.This tv takes a long time to turn on compared to my previous one. 2.The color is no way as clear or bright as the 32" I took out of service. 3.The sensor for the cable box takes a long time to respond to commands from the tv's remote. 4.Forget about surfing the internet with any video as these tvs don't yet support Flash requirements. 5.The tv remote is not intuitive (Info does NOT give you information about programs - huh?). 6.The tv takes a long time to access the wi-fi network, accept commands to use the Smart Hub, and actually access the internet. Once you get the Google page on the tv screen, you still have to figure out how to move around using the arrow buttons on the tv remote. Apparently I didn't do enough research when choosing this television. We've gotten use to these 'deficiencies' but it was an expensive lesson in that next time I'll actually go into the store and see the tv in action before buying it from the website.

I purchased this television and the price dropped - Best Buy compensated me for the change – that was awesome! The curve makes the viewing more dynamic without glasses for 3-D. It's really perfect in every way.

Great Picture, easy set up, what more can u ask for. In opinion Samsung leads the way in televisions. The wireless network set up was a piece of cake and the picture is brilliant. Can't go wrong with this set.
