Great looking TV, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV, the Samsung 5203 40" LED, is beautiful to look at. I got it at a good price from Best Buy ($350), on Black Friday online. I hooked it up on Dec 23, as a Christmas gift.It connected right away to my wireless network with no issues. I did notice the slow response of the remote, when typing in anything; there is at times about a 2 second delay between typing in a letter and it showing up on the screen. That is darned irritating. I would think Samsung would have that down by 2014, come on, guys. The picture is very nice, although not as mind-blowing as I hoped for. This replaces a 10-year-old non-HD TV, so, the picture is heads and shoulders above that. Using Centurylink Prism HD service and HDMI connectors. Since I have only had it a few days, I obviously cannot give a long-term reliability review. I will try to update this after a month or two. But, for now, I would recommend this to a friend, especially if you can get it for under $400; just make sure you use nothing but HDMI connectors if you can; although it only has two.
