I wish i had more time to watch it before my return policy was up so i could return it. Its slow,i have to keep reprogramming it to auto shut off and ita not user friendly. I want my vizio back...

Hi I bought this in January and gifted to some one who opened the pack today and surprised to see the screen is broken. Trying to reach out customer service.But no proper response.

Forget netflix on this tv. Sound goes after 15 minutes watching netflix and the only solution is exit and enter netflix again I ended up buying a roku for this tv

I own two other Samsung smart TVs. A 75 inch in my media room and a 65 inch curved 4K in my living room. I purchased this 40 inch on sale to serve dual role as monitor for my surveillance system and my bedroom entertainment TV. I was a little bit concerned after reading a few reviews about streaming lags and smart hub failures. Shortly after setting it up, I watched a whole Netflix movie with no issues. Of course it is not as sharp as my 4K curved but comparable to my 75 inch in my media room. Probably those that had issues had somehow picked up a bad unit. Hope they got replacements. If there's only one gripe I have about this TV is the limited HDMI ports. But the 2 serve my purpose. One is hooked to my surveillance DVR and the other to a blue ray player. I used the USB port to plug in a wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard. It works like a charm. I will do a follow up review after 6 months of ownership.

I could not get a picture even after calling technical service and spending over 30 minutes with the tech on the phone. The tech recommended I take the TV back.

This TV was a disappointment having warranty run out the month before and no backing from Best Buy to fix problem.

We originally selected another 40" TV, and upon viewing the live TV's in store we were sold on this TV based on the smart features we wanted and overall picture vividness and brightness. Other TV's in this class were dull in picture and didn't provide the same features/benefits.

1st tv was dead out of the box The 2nd never worked on all the apps that were previously downloads .Very dissatisfied Don't buy this tv!

Smart features stopped working after 2 weeks. Now it just says something like "smart hub not available at this time, try again later."

Went to store looked at a few brands. Talked to one salesman and asked a few questons. Some questions were answered and some were not. One question was can i stream from my phone to my tv. Answer was no i would have to purchase chrome cast. Then he asked if he could meet with other customers as they were short handed. Told him sure i understand. So i continued to look at the tvs. After a moment i decided on the Samsung as i have had others in the past they are great sets in my opinion. Another salesman came to help. I asked him the same question about streaming from phone to tv? He also said i would have to get chrome cast. So i just bought the tv and nothing else. So i get home unpacked it turned it on and set it up. Low and behold there is a setting for mirroring. Wow. So very happy with the tv great picture good sound great price. Sales department not so happy with.

This tv was extremely slow - Smart function was bad. Took back to Best But, exchanged it for a better TV. Happier with my new purchase.

Bought this TV during the Black Friday sale. Easy installation and set up. It works perfectly and is great for streaming movies and playing games. We don't have cable, and use the Internet and Netflix, Vudu, and other streaming services for all of our entertainment. The display is great! The only down side I have to say about this product is that it takes a few minutes to launch Netflix or other apps immediately after the tv is cut on. But, it's because the apps automatically update for you. So, one less thing to do in the end. Great product. Love it.

I'm surprised this TV has so many 5 star reviews. The image and sound are great, but the usability is awful! The TV is sloooooow! Have you ever used a slow computer where you click on things, nothing happens and you end up clicking again? That's this TV. It's frustratingly slow. When you first the TV on, you also have to wait an additional ~ 60 seconds before using the apps, otherwise you get a dialog "TV is starting up. Please try again later" message. What else? + The stand is quite stable + TV is very light + modern look with an average-sized bezel around the display + great image and decent sound with surprisingly many adjustments - The remote buttons are annoyingly hard I'm probably going to return this as the most basic functions are annoyingly slow.

The only thing that would display other than cable was a picture from my phone. No streaming movies , no mirror of anything

No point getting a smart TV from the factory. Save money and get a non smart TV and get a fire stick or roku to go with.

I purchased 4 Samsung tv's. And 2 were not working with one power going in and out! Horrible experience with Samsung!

Worst TV I ever had. I take atleast 10Mins to start up. Very Slow.

I installed my HP 8740 printer but it's giving signal that the tray number 2 needs paper . It has full of paper

Easy setup. Picture looked pretty good right out of the box even with my standard def cable box. But it had a persistent burning electrical smell that everyone in my family immediately said they thought something was burning (electrically) inside the TV. So I tried it out anyway and like many have said, the apps take forever to load even, with good wireless signal strength. This was my 1st smart TV (and last probably since I don't have any subscriptions to extra services like Amazon or Hulu etc.) I'm returning the TV to Bestbuy for the regular version without the so called 'Smart' features. It takes forever to do a search using the onscreen search function. The volume had a flat spot (like a plateau where an increase or decrease didn't sound any different) between about 15 and 40. 15 sounded the same volume as 40. After that it got a little louder, although tinny with no bass. Has many inputs so that is good. The e-manual takes about 15 seconds to load even with good signal strength.The stand is sufficient and the TV is very lightweight. But thank goodness it's light or I wouldn't really have faith in the stand and worry it would fall forward.

Spoke to sup of TV dept. asked if this is 2016 model, he confirmed. Unfortunately it is 2015 model.
