Setup/assembly is a breeze, picture is great. However, Samsung does not have several of the apps we like to use, and this TV does not allow you to use your phone as a remote. Had we known this up front we would've purchased a different TV. Trying to type emails and passwords into apps with the TV remote is a huge pain. We were told all smart tvs have the same apps, only the user interface is different. This is not true. After spending two hours trying to find apps/set up remote control via iPhone we finally called Samsung customer support. They told us the apps we wanted were not available and we cannot use our phone as a remote. Hopefully Best Buy will allow us to return/exchange.

Unbeatable TV for the price

This TV is so amazing, especially if you already own a Samsung phone. The ability to screen mirror and stream what's playing on your phone to your TV is the best feature by far, however the Smart TV features are close behind. I love everything about this TV and for the price you can't beat it, I'll be buying my 2nd and 3rd in the next 2 weeks!

I purchased this TV late last year, and I have a similar TV, except that one is a 24 inch. I was immediately blown away by the excellent picture and sound quality, and it was very easy to assemble and set-up.

Good TV for small room

I purchased this TV for a family member to use in a smaller room. So for a 12 x 10 room, the TV is a good size. We temporarily moved the TV into our great room, which is about 60 x 50 size space, and the TV is way too small for that size of room.
So if you're looking for a TV to have in anything larger than a bedroom sized living space, I would purchase a larger screen TV.
Also, get a sound bar to go with whatever TV size you get. The audio on TV's are not good anymore. The visual experience is what has improved.

Only one gripe...

I would have given this a 5-star rating if it hadn't been for one thing. Picture's great, sound is decent (I added a Vizio Soundbar, but the tv's speakers are ok), smart options are fine......and that's where the gripe is, though. The TV must take too long in it's boot-up sequence to get apps in order and ready to use because I seem to always get an error when I try to use apps too close to when I turn on the TV. That means that if I want to use Netflix, for instance, I have to wait a few minutes after I turn on the TV before trying to use the program or it will tell me that it's not ready yet. I mean it's not terribly inconvenient because the TV is our bedroom TV, but it can be aggravating at that moment. Other than that I really like the TV.

I bought this TV because it was on sale and I felt like I was getting a good deal. I love that it can hook up via Ethernet cable to the internet, and is not WiFi only. It takes a while for the TV to "prepare" before you can access anything on the smarthub, and that can sometimes be frustrating. All in all, it is a good TV for the price.

Streaming services are not up to date.

The picture is good. Great size for my bedroom. There is usually a, "however". In this case the drawback for me is that you cannot add apps to it. I have decided to go with Fubo for a streaming service. Also thought about Sling. Neither is supported on this TV and the only way to add is to buy a stick of some sort. And even though this tv should be in the supported devices for Fubo because Fubo is supposed to be available on Samsung TV's, it is not. A bit misleading on the Fubo side of things.

Always choose Samsung for picture quality. Great size for a small room. Smart TV was easy to set up and to navigate. The stand is very stable but does not pivot.

Samsung TVs work well for a decade or longer

Great TV and a good value. Has stood up to kids abuse for six years in the family room. Everything still works well except the speakers which failed in year five. Replaced with 55 inch, 4K version recently, but still using this TV in another room. Given the build quality I expect this TV to work well the rest of the decade.

Poor streaming connection

I am a long-time satisfied Samsung customer until now. This Smart TV is the worst television I’ve ever owned and I wish I’d returned it while I had the chance and purchased a non-Smart TV and external ROKU device. The Samsung picture quality is fine so I gave it one star’s credit. The problem is with the streaming feature - which is why many of us purchase a Smart TV in the first place. I compare this built-in feature with an external ROKU device I use on another Samsung TV (not a “Smart TV). The ROKU consistently performs well and has a simple on-screen interface that allows me to begin IMMEDIATE streaming of my desired program. The Samsung Smart TV constantly gives me a message “Preparing TV - Try Later,” especially if I power it on and immediately wish to begin streaming a program. If I haven’t streamed a service for several days, I will get an on-screen message asking me to log on. Turning the TV on and off six or seven times eventually cancels this message. Sometimes, this television will allow me to stream without displaying this message but the television’s initial connection to my Wi-Fi is slow at best. The startup (“Smart Hub”) display includes “Recently Viewed” steaming service icons which are totally useless because selecting one of these icons does not take me to the respective service and I must still manually select the desired icon from the resulting display after I press the required “Smart Hub” button on the remote. Would I buy a Samsung TV again? Yes…a Samsung Smart TV again? Never.

I bought this tv for my parents bedroom because they wanted to watch streaming movies and such and have a great picture quality. Great price for picture quality( make sure that your parents have it in the right input mode)and plenty of HDMI ports to get the job done. The only thing that would be better is that if a manufacturer came up with a remote control that a person could tell the tv what to do, less trips to their home because they can't figure out which button to push to get what they want done = happy wife =...great tv.
