This set was a warrenty replacement for my 40" non smart 1 year old Samsung that could not be repaired. Didn't really want smart as I connect a desktop to my sets but the non smart model was not available at my location so they gave me this upgraded model at no extra charge. Can't turn that down! I'm actually enjoying the smart features. PC hook up still beats the smart features hands down. Web browsers in smart TV's are super poor. Great picture and sound. All N All....Nice set! I'm very pleased.

I am using it for my Xbox and it is great. I'm not noticing any game lag or Ghosting. Also it is very nice to have the smart TV apps, component cab, and Analog cable!

This is the best tv you can buy for this price point. I tried the vision40 in with120hz. This one is better. If this tv had 120hz. I would give it a 5. The smart tv is amazing with the apps you can download and the remote is very nice. This tv is amazing for bedroom. I would not buy this tv for a living room. Get a tv with 120hz. It's the 5300 Samsung. This is 5200. For living room it's worth the extra $90.00. Nor for a bedroom. ALSO. THE SPEAKERS ARE AMAZING!n!! For a smart Tv. WoW!!

Great size for a great price. Love thst I can stream directly from the tv without an extra device.

Hope this saves you time if setting up TV and picture is frozen. But have sound. Reboot the cable/satellite box. Spent two hour almost took it back. Picture, sound... Everything is nice on this TV. I've only had it for a day. But going from a 32" 720p to this 1080p well it's wonderful nice and clear. Only thing is a little light gear on TV and wish it didn't have shinny edges around TV. But I can get over that fast.

This tv was a replacement 5200 series from the Geeksquad. For a smart tv the picture Could've been sharper. 2 years ago I bought a similar model the 6300 series SmartTV same size and everything and it had a better picture. What happen to the other one is that on occasion when I go to to turn it on the picture would be dim I turn it back off then on and it correct itself. I had a 5 year Geeksquad protection plan. So I took it to Best Buy to have it serviced fine. A few days later, I get a phone call saying that they can't fix it the part was not available so the gave me a gift card. I wish the agent was more clearer to me about the tv I got, I already picked it. He should have said the 5200 series is not like the 6300 series. instead he suddenly said "Are you sure you want a bigger one with higher specs?" It took a while for the agent to help me when I got there to begin with. They only had 2 agents and they were busy helping 2 costumers with their computers. There should have been a third. I should've been more careful the 5200 series was $200 less he should have told me theirs a difference but I had a friend bring me and I didn't want to hold him up for too long. We were there for an hour due to the agents helping costumers with their computers at the Northridge CA store 1180. I just wanted them to either they fix my tv or replace it with the equal size and specs

I bought this TV for my sons room and it works great. Its big enough to accommodate his video games widescreen and has great picture quality. So far it has held up nicely. We have it on the stand but it can go on a wall as well. I love Samsung products. I have numerous Samsung Tv's as well as other Samsung appliances and they have all been very reliable. Great product for the price.

I love this TV and the smart features. The TV is light weight and looks fantastic in my room.

Totally dissapointed with the UI, the network setup, the connectivity with other devices and Samsung product support. There is not a user manual included, the user interface is awful, once you finally found how to use it there are few apps already installed and when you try to get more you get a lot of apps from middle east and a bunch of fox channels. Surfing the app store is painful, there is no way to search for an specific app at least you go all the way back to the first menu and scroll all the installed apps until you find the search app. I found spotify an tunein radio are not compatible with this tv. The network setup is relatively easy, the problem comes when you want to connect your devices (smarphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) I'm still dealing with this. The network device name is not showed in my network client list, so other devices using smart view doesn't recognize the tv not even a customized name. I thing is because the tv still adding a [TV] prefix to any name. Here comes customer service, "please visit this link" (samsung site) is the usual answer and the final solution is that your tv is not compatible with this or this even though in the samsung site you find it is.

As far as picture quality goes, can't ask for a better picture. Even with scenes that have a lot of motion the tv handles it well. The only slight drawback is it takes about a minute after turning the tv on to access Netflix and the other apps, but once I do they work great. Considering the tv only has a single processor it's understandable. Otherwise fantastic tv

I have a Samsung 57.5" plasma TV in my living room that still has a great picture and works wonderful after 6 yrs. Bought this 40" smart TV for $299 and the picture quality is great also. The apps are great, the sound could be a little better, I usually hit the sports button on the remote and the sound improves and the picture quality too. It's a smart TV from Samsung, you won't be disappointed with this purchase.

I finally broke down and bought a new 40" TV for my bedroom, the old one was about 15 + years old (you know the old heavy type). What a difference in the picture. Samsung makes an excellent product. I bought another brand last year (50" for the family room), it's a good TV but the Samsung has a better picture. I will stick with Samsung going forward.

We should have gotten a larger one for our living room, but this one is good for the bedroom since the space is smaller. Now the 4K is out it's not as nice as those, but we got it on sale and was a very good buy for the price!

I was told by the associate that this TV was compatible with DramaFever(app) but when I setup my TV I found out that this particular model is not compatible, I trusted the associate and thus made the decision on purchasing this TV before doing my research
