I purchased this TV 2 weeks ago and installed it over the weekend, I just moved to a new house in June...absolutely love it!!! The picture quality is great, sound is clear and I love the SmartHub feature with all the apps, Pandora, Facebook etc. Definitely recommend!!

Best deal I ever got on sale for my parents for Christmas. They can do all the streaming they want in their room without having to fight over the TV in the family room. Not too big or too small for the size to blend in with their bedroom.

I bought this TV for my master bedroom and it's been perfect. The resolution is amazing for the price and the SMART features are seamless. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great price and great quality television.

This TV is absolute horrible. So is the service. The TV looks nice (although the base doesn't swivel like our other Samsung which is actually a good TV), but the software just doesn't work. Our specific issues: 1. The smarthub does not load quickly. Compared to an Apple TV or Roku, it takes almost 10 minutes to boot up. 2. The volume on smarthub apps cuts out randomly. Watch TV for 15 minutes, and then suddenly the volume doesn't work. The picture streaming is fine. Samsung support tried to blame it on my internet provider, but everything else in our home works fine. Then they tried to blame it on the apps, but it was doing the same thing on Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and the Time Warner Cable App. 3. When you are in the store or online, the Smarthub has a pretty background image. When you bring it home, you are stuck with the scrambling image that you get when your antenna isn't working in 1992. They do not show it that way in the store or online for a reason. Samsung support has been terrible. Their solution to every problem is to reboot or update software that's already up to date. They refuse to acknowledge any hardware issues. I wasted 2 hours with support and I only had the TV for 3 days. I really would rather not have to repackage this TV but it's horrendous. Do not buy.

Great price first off. I have a sony so when i was told samsung was the way to go I had to see for myself. Well the picture is clear and the sound is perfect. I wish I could give more details but this was a mother's day gift that I am not privy to using lol

I had high hopes for this TV after reading all of the positive reviews, but I am very disappointed. Smart TV? More like the opposite. I've had nothing but trouble since I purchased this box. For starters, you have to wait a few min after turning on the TV to use the apps. The netflix app refuses to work. When I start a show, it buffers every 2 seconds, literally (and no it is not my internet because hulu is streaming just fine and my laptop and phone have no problem with the wiif). But here's the actual fun part: when netflix goes haywire, the TV becomes completely unresponsive to the remote control. I mean, there's no going back. I can't even turn off the darn thing with the remote's power button. I have to physically turn off the TV using the TV's power button (which lately has been requiring more than one attempt to actually work). Seriously, Samsung? Is this the Smart TV technology? They should make it clear that the software has not been streamlined yet. This is my first large purchase from Samsung, and I am very disappointed. I will never buy anything from Samsung ever again. Guess I will just use my laptop via HDMI and watch everything from there. I should've just gotten the regular TV and saved money.

I bought my smart tv to free my some from my cell phone usage, and I ended up giving my cell to him to olay while I use the tv. Just the fact that I can watch my online shows in a big screen is AWESOME!

I recently purchased this television because my old one went out, but this was a great purchase. This a nice lightweight television that meets almost every need. The only downside is that the tv does not have the spotify app.

We bought this TV to replace a 32 CRT TV. This TV was easy to set up and our decision to get the 40 inch was the correct choice. We are using OTA antenna and Netflix for viewing. The picture quality is outstanding.

Great picture, sound and awesome apps in the smart hub!! Sports mode is an awesome feature too, brighter picture and enhanced sound.

Picture is good, connects to home network fast and easy, watch you tube, surf the Internet nice, it would not play video on some wed sight it said it need a update the driver but all other things work good

Great basic smart TV for casual use. I purchased the TV for gaming. Works well! The negative reviews must be from folks expecting a TV with 4K quality specs. Purchase, you will not regret it!

I like Samsung products, i would recommend. The item still owrks amd picture quality is good.

Purchased this Samsung TV and it had been great!!! Picture quality if very good and the smart apps are great!! THE APPS are not sluggish and provide additional content beyond cable/antenna TV.

This is our third Samsung TV purchase. As we add TV's to rooms we are replacing with Samsung as they have the best product for HD viewing at a reasonable cost.

From pre loaded apps that you can't un-install to Samsung's horrible interface to the 'preparing the tv try again later' (5 minutes for the tv to prepare to run a video app) to you cant watch a video on an app as the tv constantly has to refresh. I am amazed that this tv has any good reviews. When researching trying to find answers to the problems I found that my problems were common place. I have xfinity x1 its not my internet. My xbox 360 and PS3 have no problem with video apps. Do yourself a favor and get a 'dumb' tv and hook up a console to it.

Just bought this TV and I HATE it! Bought it for my bedroom where I had a regular flat screen with a "smart Blu-ray" hooked up, could stream Netflix and Hulu with no problem, but wanted to stream Amazon too. This TV takes too long to allow you to get into Netflix, then once you do it reloads every 20 seconds, same with Hulu. I know it's not my internet, I have 1G and my Blu-ray worked with no issue. I'm taking this back to find something better.

I choose this smart tv because the interface is very easy to use. AS a gift for someone that isn't very "techie" it needed to be easy.

Picture quality and sound are good. You Tube App doesn't go very well - perhaps a known issue. I should have read the reviews before buying. Overall Liked it.
