…would have been great to know that this model is not Fios TV compatible. I wanted to avoid having to get another set-top box. Considering swapping the model. Other than that, it's a cool tv.

First review here. I am a loyal Samsung customer when it comes to tv's, never had a problem at all, love them . Now this one, something went wrong.... it's really slow responding. Ill Explain, got this for my kids room to watch netlfix and youtube, nothing else so i am using the "smart" feature only. Now when you turn on the tv oyu have to wait a minute or 2 to access online features i get " preparing tv" never had a problem with any other tv like this. It may not seem like a big deal but when you are busy and your kids are crying and the tv is making you stand there for 2 minutes until you can use it? no good. Also seems slow on responding simple task like lowering or making the volume louder, just why was this hard? Looking away from these things and when the tv is warmed up and you have the volume you want... everything else is great. If you are impatient or simply do not have the time to be waiting around, get something else.

Needed to replace old unit and Best Buy was our first stop. Selection was large and the salesmen was interested in our needs. He made a couple of suggestions and we were even more surprised to find the unit on further sale than the marked price. Samsung is always a quality product. Thank you Best Buy.

Using it from past 6 years with no issues at all, the only thing it’s missing is Bluetooth smart feature gets outDated after a period of time so using it with firestick

Tv picture looks good. That's where the stars stop though. Cannot manually tune to channel (I.e. We get a weak signal for abc, but it's still watchable. But since auto tune doesn't think so, it won't let us turn it there at all). It 'forgets' our wireless network every time the tv is turned off or different input selected, and it consistently drops audio while streaming Netflix. I was excited about a new tv that was supposed to make life easier, but this thing is nothing but an expensive headache.

Pretty easy to set-up, took about 30 minutes to get both the tv itself and the smart hub app running. I was able to enjoy an episode on Netflix before I turned it off and the following day when I attempted to log onto Netflix, the app was not working because of network problems although the tv network settings said everything was fine. So I checked if it was the Samsung App but everything was up to speed. I went onto the Web Browser to try and flicker the TV's senses of a connected network. The browser worked so I afterwards I tried Netflix again and I was able to get back on.
A few days later however, my mother (whom the TV was given to as a birthday gift) tried watching TV but nothing appeared on our screen. She called me frantically saying that the screen was black but she was able to hear what was playing so I figured it was some sort of input issue. Except, when I got home and tried finding the problem, I wasn't able to pinpoint any external issues so I assumed it was an internal issue. We then took the TV back to Best Buy to get it fixed which took about 2 weeks. The screen is now working but we are running into SmartHub problems once again.
Our SmartHub apps are not working because the app is supposedly updating. We reseted SmartHub and when it restarted it updated automatically and concluded with "app is up to date" so we attempted to use the apps once again after the reset but it continues to tell us that it is still updating.
Their whole system is super glitchy and slow!! Typing words in takes forever, I usually find myself pressing on a particular button twice because it takes the TV soo long to perform on your act that it's easy to get confused that you didn't press the button especially because the buttons are not sensitive at all and require you to press down pretty hard.
I don't ever really leave reviews, even if I do run into some minimal problems but I felt it was necessary considering the amount of problems I've had to deal with.

I went through the reviews for this TV before I bought it, and most of them seemed good until I saw one of the most recent ones saying thee was a problem with sound cutting out constantly and the apps not working well. I decided to take a chance since it since the majority of people thought it worked fine. I regret it and wish I had researched further.
The day I took it out of the box the Netflix app worked for a whole 15 minutes before the sound completely cut out while the video continued to stream in HD. My internet signal is fine, made sure everything was updated. Tried again, within 10 minutes the sound goes out again. Same thing with the Hulu app.
I might as well have bought a non-Smart TV since it seems I won't be able to use any of the apps. I'm extremely annoyed I have to go through the process of re-boxing it and returning it and having to go through it all again to find a better TV that will hopefully actually do what it claims to do.

Purchased this TV for my father. He doesn't need all the bells and whistles, but this TV still has them. It works great for him and Samsung always produces great products. Very happy with our decision to purchase this for him.

Only buy this TV if you don't actually plan on watching TV. It randomly just turns off. A lot. I had to turn it on 5 times this morning before it actually stayed on. Total junk. I bought it based off good reviews but I have nothing good to say. It's being exchanged for the Vizio equivalent. This is the most disappointed I've been in a Samsung product.
