This TV has spoiled me. Sharp Picture, Easy set-up, & great features. I've recently become a Samsung guy, but as long as their products perform like this, I will continue to be.

TV has a nice picture out of the box and with little tweaking becomes very nice. 4K with HDR for under 300! Value can't be beat. I liked this TV so much I bought 2 more as gifts.

Good value as far as price, great sound, great picture and features. Only cons would be remote is a little weak, but if you get the smartview app will fix the remote issue.

I purchased this TV to replace an old LCD to use with our new Xbox One S. I cannot believe the value and quality of this television! It also had HDR, which is not listed in the features, and you will not find on the website. I promise you it's there! I struck gold with this purchase. 4K streaming and 4K movies look amazing. Regular HD programming on cable or Blu Ray is unbelievable. We now use this TV as our everyday family television. You will not be disappointed. I really believe this model is comparable to a higher end, higher priced television. I spent months waiting for a great TV at a great price and this is it!!!

Got this TV for our children's playroom. It is super easy to set up and because it is a smart tv it has YouTube, Netflix, etc... Great price on sale Picture is awesome

I bought open box online to save a couple dollars. Great pic and tv for the price. Samsung is a quality product! Very easy to wall mount and navigate the smart tv apps.

This review is for the SAMSUNG 40" 6290 TV bought at a price discounted lower than BB's lowest thanks to BB's price match. Great unit to use as a monitor for games. However, I ended using it as a TV. Its remote is small but does everything the large remote does (actually, to my surprise, my large remote worked on this set). the smallness comes mainly from losing the individual numbers. It does look on the cheap side and it was somewhat difficult to open to install the batteries. Set up was easy although the printed manual and the emanual could stand improvement. I had an old DVD player without HDMI that I wished to connect via component cables and the manual was not clear to say the least (may I add that I presented the matter to someone of the Geek Squad who had no solution but to refer me to a phone number where a recording asked me to bring the set to where I was given the phone number). Anyway, this was solved by connecting the non Y cables from my DVD to the adapter cable included with the set (the 2 to 1 adapter) according to the color; and the Y cable from my DVD to the adapter cable also included with the set (the 3 to 1 adapter) to the yellow cable. However, biggest problem involved the HDMI connection to the cable box. Everything worked fine, got the channels with picture and sound but once the set and cable box were turned off and you turned both back on again, the picture was there but the sound was lost. Not only the TV built-in sound test indicated that sound was good, but also got sound from streaming (NETFLIX, etc) from the blu-rey (XBOX 1) and from my old DVD. Tried leaving the cable box on, same. Changed the HDMI cable, same problem. Changed the cable box (BH now Spectrum) for new one and same problem. BB people didn't know why this happened and I ended up calling SAMSUNG (great service on their part) where after trying several things, was told to turn of the Anynet-something at the set's System menu. This seemed to work (for the few minutes the set was off) but the real trial would be after the set and box are off for a couple of hours (SAMSUNG rep gave me a number in case I needed to call again). To make long story short, same thing happened. However, I tried using another HDMI port and not the one labeled for cable box (HDMI 1). Surprise, it worked! Problem was only with that port but, strangely enough, that port worked fine with any other device. Only thing I had to do was re-label the port using the remote (yes, there's an option to edit the names of the devices connected to the different ports of the set). True, there may still be something wrong with the set but this TV had been sold out for a while so I was not going to get a replacement and I did not want to take it and leave it at BB--specially when everything "seems" to be working great. Should I have taken a star off? Not after seeing how well it is now working.

I have 5 Samsung TV's in two locations. They provide the best 4K picture available. They are very easy to set up and control. I consider them the best TV for the price.

I purchased the 40" Samsung Ultra 4K TV when Best Buy was having a great sale. During checkout, I received an additional discount which made the purchase a great deal. The picture and sound quality are excellent, but I am having an occasional delay/judder problem when watching an older show on-demand. I added a Platinum Monster HDMI to the system with the hopes that the problem would be solved, but it may just be that the source (Verizon FIOS receiver) of the signal may not yet be ready to present a judder-free image all of the time. Either way, for the price and quality, I was satisfied with this purchase.

This is my first UHD television, and frankly it makes me want to change out the rest to this resolution. The image is unbelievable, even when viewing a standard DVD on from our Playstation 3. It's so detailed I tell my wife its almost too much. I am used to seeing some blur or fuzzyness in a movie or television, and there in NONE with this image. The only thing I have a slight issue with is the standard attempts by the manufacturers to 'dumb' down the controls. I would prefer to maintain a little more direct control over my set, but all things considered, this is a nearly unbelievably detailed image.

This tv has an amazing image, it is the entry level, so the there are better upscaling processors out there, but nothing can come close in the Value/price scale, 4k content, either played or streamed is truly 4k, with great colors and contrast.

Bought this during Black Friday for a great price. I've had many brand name tvs but Samsung is the best. Picture is amazing and the smart features are user friendly.

I bought this TV to use as a monitor for my PC. It is beautiful. A note to anyone looking to do the same: you will have to go into the settings and activate the special gaming mode on the TV. Otherwise, the post-processing on the TV will make it seem as if there is a lag. The "Game Mode" almost eliminates this effect. If you're playing fast-paced FPS games like CS:GO, you may still notice a little lag. I've only got an R9 290 which has a limited HDMI output at 4K of 30FPS. Therefore, I cannot attest to the TV's speed performance beyond that. All in all, I've loved every second I've used this TV.

I bought this TV for my mom since her television died. The picture is phenomenal. You feel like you're in the room with the people on TV. Great TV for the price.

It's hard to beat a TV this good for the price I paid, especially one that is 4K compatible, smart, and with so many inputs available as well. An absolute steal.

My new Samsung-40-inch-Led-2160p-Smart-4k Ultra HD TV is the perfect addition to my small home office. The small footprint leaves plenty of desktop space for the my web design projects and keep and eye on the television news. The screen is the right-size for gaming on my Xbox One. It presents a natural life-like picture when racing Forza Horizon 3 on Blizzard Mountain. This size screen and 4K will provide much racing excitement beyond Horizon 5 or Horizon 6. I chose the Samsung brand for its reliability as my previous Samsung 32-inch, 720P is still working fine for the past ten years.

Excellent size and quality for a small room. We really enjoy the quality of tv, very easy to install and set. Definitely worth it and would buy another one!

Awesome picture and great quality TV. The set up was a breeze and should is simple enough for beginners. I would recommend getting a sound bar with purchase.

what I Liked about the TV is that the price was good for the quality of the television Also it very light weight. i bought. only thing i did not like about was that it took a longer time to set it up with my cable than what i expected,

The clarity of the picture and the easy of apps is a large improvement over my previous smart TV. The price point was right where I wanted to be as well
