I bought this TV on Dec 12, 2016. It's in my bedroom so it's not used as much as the family room. 3 weeks ago I turned it off when I left for work and when I went to bed I turned it on to discover there was no volume. I brought it back to Best Buy under my Geek Squad protection and now I have to go without my TV for 4 weeks while it's sent out for repair. I wouldn't be so upset if I had the TV for a while but 6 months without a ton of use is upsetting to me. I love everything about it except the defect.

The TV is basically a budget TV. The picture and sound quality are OK for the price. The build and material are not very good. The "smart" remote is not user-friendly.

This tv has a very clear picture and is great for normal viewing. However, when watching something with fast motion, like hockey, it blurs too much, so retuned it.

I rated a 3 star because the box showed you can get TWC TV and come to find out the TV was not compatible and that was one of the reasons I bought it.

I love this TV. I give it a 3 because the only one thing wrong is the internet is always disconnect I have had to reset it a couple times.

I have moved from 32" Smart tv to 40" UHTV. good. It got Ethernet. It works very fast compare to wifi. I like it

On the tv review and on the site never told me that I can't have several conecctions and cool gadgets on this tv

After years of use, burn in is occurring in some instances.

Its a good tv for what my son will do with it. Couldnt find on/off switch so dont loose remote

Picked this up for great price considering it's A 4K 40" tv (under $300.00). But beware viewing is comprised sitting at an angle. Picture will fade as viewing angle increases. Great picture when sitting directly in front of tv. I'm using tv in a small room so not a problem for me. Look at other options if you will be watching at an angle.

I purchased this tv for a small bedroom to be mainly used for video gaming/streaming movies. On the second day of it being installed, the HDMI inputs quit working. Never expected to have issues with hardware from a company like Samsung. When I tried to exchange it, the store did not have 1 and was told they couldn't order just 1.

I purchased two of these tvs during the holiday season as gifts. The tv has a 1 year warranty however based on my person experience the warranty has zero value. Our tv developed a "crack" on the internal screen within the first 90 days. I was told by customer service at best buy the tv had been "damaged" and because it had been damaged it was not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The tv has no visible sign of any external damage and was not damaged by us. I was also told that the best buy warranty would not cover this type of repair. Its clear to me that this is a design defect or build defect. I'm a platinum member at best buy and have continued to buy from them because I thought my platinum status would provide some type of benefit in this type of situation but I was wrong, they treated me like I was a problem and offered zero concession. I will be buying elsewhere in the future.

Colors look only good in a narrow angle, otherwise they tend to be grey

While watching YouTube it would sometimes glitch and fast forward.

Is good on a lot of electronic Is good on all to buy

Service was prompt and price was better than other places

Just average pictures and features. But still a good tv.

Hard to adjust for contrast, volume, picture qualiry

This TV had a cracked screen which you couldn't see until it was assembled and turned on. It was somehow cracked behind the outer layer so you have no idea until you turn it on. Returned exchanged

This was a good TV when it worked. After just 4 years it worked before bed, woke up and no power. Just dead! No TV should only last 4 years! We own almost all Samsung tv's and the problems seem to be getting more and more. I guess they are selling dispoable TV's now. I need to start looking at different manufacturers. Good luck if you are buying Samsung. Definitely get any extended warranty.
