It comes with no owner’s manual to explain how to operate it with a smart remote. I had to search the Samsung web site for quite a while before I found any help on how the smart remote worked on a similar Samsung TV. Other than this frustration, it appears to be a very nice TV.

I bought this TV on a whim for only $299.00 on sale. I was not looking for a TV but just received a Best Buy Gift Card, so why not spend it on one. I was in the process of buying a 50' Sharp Smart TV for the size and the price and basically I never had a smart TV before and I just wanted one. While I was at the register I asked why this TV cost the same amount at the 50" TV. I was told that it was 4k did not know what that meant but I figured it should be good. If not I would just return the item and get something else. I took this TV home hooked it up to the satellite and connected to the wifi in lest than 10 minutes. WOW it worked like a charm. Great Picture!! Smart TV apps worked great with no lagging. Surfed on the internet with no problem. Samsung really out did there selves.

Have been purchasing Samsung flat screens for quite a while now. This is just a great TV - and and amazing value. The user interface, remote, processing speed is the best yet, and the picture is amazing for the price point.

Took a little while to setup picture. Standard cable looks so so. Video 720p or better looks good on this TV. Gaming is great on Xbox one S. Remote is simple once you get familiar with it. Price was right for entry level 4K.

This TV was for a 2nd bedroom and replaced a smaller older style model. The setup was so easy and quick. In no time we were able to enjoy the amazing picture quality and speed.

I use the TV as a monitor. It supports RGB8 or YCrCb 4:4:4 at 4k 60Hz once enabled in the settings for the HDMI port your PC is connected to. To get the most of this display, enable full dynamic range from your graphics card's settings and then set the TV brightness to 61 and contrast to 82. Any other value either clamps or saturates colors. Note that game mode cannot be enabled in full color (RGB8 or 4:4:4), and thus the TV has small lag, but not too bad. Works well even for first person shooters.

I picked this up for 299 before black Friday. Got it home, set it up as a monitor on my gaming/programming machine. After running through an article online about how to configure this properly, it has worked flawlessly. YOU HAVE TO TWEAK THE SETTINGS to get it to work perfectly, but it didn't take much. 4x the screen space for code/programs and games look absolutely amazing. 5 Stars all the way.

We bought this TV for our bedroom, so not as a main TV. For the price, this cannot be beat. It has a spectacular picture and it is very easy to use. The one main problem we have is with judder. On certain shows/movies, we can see noticeable judder. Even after maxing out the judder reduction, we can still see it. Not a deal breaker, but if you're using this as your main "theater experience" TV, you'll probably be slightly disappointed.

The picture is very good; the only problem I've had, so far, is with Netflix. 20 minutes into a show the TV drops the audio the only way I've been able to correct the problem is by closing out of Netflix and then logging back in. This appears to be a problems with a lot of Samsung TV's. The manual say Cat7 internet feed recommended. I don't know of any household that is running cat7; cat5e yes, cat6 maybe, cat6a rare, cat7 & above never. The work around I'm using, and it is working, is to route my internet to a PS3 and then a HDMI from the PS3 to the TV. This defeats the extra cost and reason for buying a "smart" tv.

The upscaling on this TV is incredible! I do wish I had purchased a model with Bluetooth though. This TV connects more easily to my network than my Samsung bluray player. The screen went a little dark a few times about 2 or 3 days after my purchase on 11/19/16 but hasn't done it since. I use it mainly with the Netflix, Amazon and Pandora apps. So far it has been great.

I bought the Samsung - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black about 15 days ago, which I purchased for $450 ($480 with tax). Today, I received an email claiming Best Buy had a sale going and out of curiosity I searched Samsung 4K and ran into this. It is identical to the Samsung I listed above that I had purchased except for the fact that it does not have the internet browsing option. For those of you who have owned smart TV's, you must know what a nightmare it is trying to browse the web on a TV. Personally, if I want to browse the web on my TV, i use an HDMI and connect it to my laptop which is much more efficient. For a $130 difference, this TV is definitely worth it.

How can you complain? I cant,great picture looks great on ps4 pro and xbox one s.even the remote is ok does the job.got it for 300 loving it

I love the TV and all the features of smart tv. The picture quality is wxcelllent and if you have a good broadband connection there is literally zero lag time. The only reason I don't give this a 5 is because the plastic stand is fragile and the piece to hook the TV onto broke very easily. I am planning to mount the TV either way but just a heads up.

Bought this TV when it was on sale. For the price i paid I'm fairly happy with my purchase. The tv has decent color and works very well as a second monitor. I've used it to watch Netflix and as a second monitor for my desktop. It sits next to a Samsung 28 inch 4k monitor and although there are some differences between the two, they are very small. My main gripe with the TV would be the lack of smart features in relation to the TWC TV app. There is literally a picture of the App on the box yet both TWC site and Samsungs site fail to list this device as compatible. This was the main reason I bought this TV as I wouldn't have to pay TWC for another set top box. Aside from this very misleading packaging, I would still recommend the TV.

Excellent color and sharpness. Only has a digital output for speakers, No analog output.
