Bought this TV to replace our main, family TV. The size was fine for our needs. We watch cable TV, streaming TV and have an Xbox One. I struggled to get a consistent picture between channels, and the picture looked washed out after 15 seconds of changing settings. Lesson 1: Turn off all the automatic stuff this TV does by default like dynamic contrast and ECO settings, and switch to Standard TV mode. Even after this, I have never seen such a difference between channels, either too bright or too dark. Shadows sometimes look red, highlights sometimes look green, and some channels have very little coloration. Insanely Inconsistent. You cannot adjust the TV to be consistent and watchable for every channel. The motion blur is worse than out 60Hz Samsung TVs. It's so bad that my son does not want to use this TV for his Xbox anymore, even using Game mode, telling us that his $100 generic TV has less motion blur. I bought Samsung because I like their products. I bought 120Hz assuming the motion blur would be nearly nonexistent, especially compared to 60Hz TVs. What I got is a TV I'm sorry I bought. It replaced a 720p plasma that outperformed this TV on EVERY level!!!! I'm hesitant to return it because I might end up spending more than we can afford right now, so for now, we're dealing with the issues and watching the worst picture we've seen in 8 years. Thanks Samsung. I will look at other brands next time.

Excellent TV at a great price. The UN40KU620 is super easy to set up and the smart features are a breeze. This tv was an awesome value and I could not be happier with purchase. Thank you Best Buy for another great product!

I purchased this TV for someone else. The "smart" portion of this TV seems to be Android-based and it shows. There's no real consistency in navigation among all the apps as the recipient very kindly let me know and they are glitchy. Hulu throws errors every so often. If you don't wait long enough after turning on the TV, the TV will claim there's no internet connectivity and apps won't work. Plex on this TV stopped working after a server-side update when other Plex clients accessed it just fine. Coming from a Roku-based smart TV this Samsung unit has been a real disappointment. For basic TV functionality it's fine - gives satisfactory performance for something on the lower end of the scale.

Works great with WiFi and smartphones. I highly recommend!

I am not a TV expert but I think this TV has an outstanding picture quality. Easy setup. Owners manual could use a lot of HELP!! Wish the base would rotate.

this tv is the bomb and it has UHD and HDR and I used it on the PS4 Pro and it enables me to select 2160p RCB resolution and looks beautiful

Waited 2 weeks for this tv to finally arrive. Super excited and... smart hub will not start. Searched online and tons of people are having the same issues. Called samsung and was met with a ton of attitude. After going through all of the troubleshooting and was told its my wifi, even though my other samsung tv works just fine. So I hard wire it and guess what... still wont work. I was told there is a feature where they can log straight onto my tv to troubleshoot but guess what... that doesn't work either, half the functions on their menu are greyed out meaning they are not accessible. Obviously a software issue so I ask how to force an update. Im put on hold for 30 minutes then told they will escalate it. Great, just transfer me. Nope, escalation have to "call you back" and you have to be ready at the drop of a hat sometime in the next 24 hours whenever they decide its convenient for them, not you. Done with samsung. Well at least my tv didn't burst into flames... yet.

rtings say it's not good for movies because of the judder: http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/judder I said, who cares - I don't care about the refresh rate, speed etc, want good brightness uniformity, high brightness, good colors, contrast, blacks, whites etc and this TV got it all. After all, conversion from 24p to 60Hz is something that exists for decades so what could be that bad? And then you see movements in the Movies and can't believe it - my eyes HURTS. Going back to store...

I'm rating it 2 stars because picture is only half the reason I purchased this TV. I wanted a TV for the bedroom. I like to watch TV late at night when everyone is sleeping. This TV does not have the option to output external sound. I can't believe Samsung would build anything that could not use external sound. No bluetooth or anything. You can't even put headphones on it. Best Buy shouldn't even sell a TV that can't use external sound. I'm going to return this TV.

My favorite line is you get what you pay for. In this instance definately applies cheaply made not enough ports in back to connect to does not come with screws if you intend to wall-mount will not fit a existing mount needs adapter kit or samsung mount purchased from Samsung I felt the picture was at best not good Returned to store would not recommend

This TV came broken with the side of the screen cracked, and a huge color gash on the right side it looks terrible. Not to mention it only came with six screws when you need eight.

Just bought this thing, got home and the screen is cracked! Hoping Best Buy will make an exchange tomorrow without any hassle. Will update review when I have a working TV.

My HDMI port 1 went out after AN HOUR OF USE! Terrible purchase, thankfully BB allowed me to return it and get a new TV.
