Awesome on gaming system. My family and I love the new tv.

Impressive technology, and it makes me wish I would have gotten one with a larger screen size!

I really had no need for a new tv, but I saw Ghostbusters come out with a 30th anniv. set of both movies and the they were in 4k UHD. So i looked around and found this 40' UHD tv and it was during the black friday deals so I got it for 400 dollars off which was a great selling point not too mention that it was a smart TV wireless and had 4 HDMI ports which my previous tv only had 2 so now I can hook up all my HDMI devices. I really like the remote adn the picture quality is great because it upscales too almost HD quality and then any HD signal is great. I have seen somethings in the 4K region and it looks like you are there. It's so realistic.

Bought this TV online and had a lot of reservations regarding its capabilities but MAN, what a GREAT BUY! And I had nothing to worry about. Not only do you get the best picture quality but even the sound is top quality. Lots of setup options and customization features to keep a techie busy for hours and yet ready to go right out of the box! Easy, too! Took me less than 10-min to setup and start watching breath taking movies! If you've been sitting on the fence about getting it, jump off now and take the plunge...you won't regret it.

Good picture display but took a little biy long to set up.

I want to use the Samsung mainly as a TV and also as a 4K computer monitor. I have tried the Seiki 39" 4K and the LG 40" 4K. As a TV, the Samsung picture is better than the other two. As a monitor, so far I can get 4K but only at 25 Hz. The problem could be due to the limitation of my computer hardware. The good thing is that I am able to get a great picture from some of my computer video files at chroma 4:4:4 quality.

The 4k resolution of this set almost provides a 3D effect without the hassle of true 3D.The internet connectivity works well. Highly recommend Geek Squad installation however.

Beautiful picture, lots of options, Smart TV works great. Plays movies from my NAS without any problem. I mainly use it to play Xbox and I sit about 3-4 feet away and you don't see any jaggies like I did with my previous 1080P TV.

I paired this with an NVidia 970 graphics card, and I am able to get this to function as a 4k monitor for my pc. It did NOT look good (to me) simply up-rezzing a 1080p signal from a previous graphics card. The color was off a bit, so I calibrated it with a ColorMunki monitor calibration puck, and it's just great. There is a SLIGHT delay sometimes when changing resolutions - not a big deal.

Incredible picture! The 4K Ultra HD is highly evident in the overall picture. Love the Smart TV aspect also. Pretty cool feature to be able to search and select YouTube videos from my iPad and play them on the TV. I also like the feature where the smart remote provides guide features and other options in lieu of the cable box remote. Love it overall!

For a 40" set, this tv delivers. For the price you can't beat it. Samsung has it all together when it comes to apps, remote ease and adaptation. It is difficult tho get this kind of 4k quality with a smaller set and Samsung has done a great job.

First tv I purchased I brought home plugged it in, did update and half way through the update it freaked out with a bunch of colors and the screen went black. Turned off tv and unplugged waited 30 secs and retried. Nothing so brought it back to best buy and returned it with no hassle. Had tv for 1 month now and no problems and I love it.

Initially I intended to buy the curve Samsung TV, but they did not manufacture the size I needed for my niche. The Sale man I was talking was very knowledgeable and advised me to buy this one. A very good advise. The TV is awesome, very bright clear picture, easy to set up, it connects in no time to the internet. I am very happy with it.

THE CLARITY OF IMAGE IS EXCELLENT FOR ALL LEVELS OF INPUT FROM SD TO HD TO UHD THAT I HAD TO ASK MYSELF "WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG TO MAKE THE UPGRADE TO 4K UHD?"THE SMART HUB FEATURES ARE AWESOME AND EASY TO ACCESS & USE. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SAMSUNG 4K 40" TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A LARGE SCREEN FOR THE BEDROOM.

The picture and sound quality are EXCELLENT! The quality is outstanding when viewed in our family room. However, the quality of the 40" TV cannot not be appreciated from the adjoining kitchen. We therefore ordered the exact TV in a 50" as a replacement.

For the price on sale, its the best deal on a UHD TV. UHD streaming from netflix with the Smart TV feature makes the picture incredible. Not thrilled with only the 60HZ refresh rate - at this level it should have been at least 120HZ if not 240. Sometimes when the scene is very dark, people are hard to make out but just keep the room light low to fix that.

The picture is incredible. We connected the TV to a PC and the clarity is amazing.
