I got this samsung-40 inch class 5 series LED TV for my mom. I like the size because it's perfect for my mom's room. Color seems to be good and it works well. It's easy to use. The price is also reasonable.

I bought the 2019 40" Samsung TV instead of the 2025 model. I have bought Samsung TVs for over 20 years. They have always performed excellent. I have notice that in the past couple of the years, the newer versions had used inferior components. I had bought a 2025 55" Samsung and had to return it because the picture was not good. Having that information in mind, i bought the older 2019 40 ". I'm glad I did. The picture is excellent and the smart features work perfectly.

Beautiful TV. Easy to use. Color and quality is superb. Lightweight so one person can move easily.

Picture is really sharp and comes pre loaded with several apps but you can also download more if needed. I understand people’s problems with the remote but i quickly got used to it because it has to essentially be pointed straight at the tv. The other problem I experienced was the tv being on a sort of “eco” default so it dims every time it’s dark on the screen but that can be fixed pretty easily in settings. It also can stream YouTube from your device and does it very quickly. Also, setup was an absolute breeze. From out of box to using The tv took about 10 minutes. Great product!

Purchased this TV for my son going off to college. It is slim, lightweight, easy to mount on the wall. Stand brackets are a bit hard to remove and put on. Good picture quality, gaming!

Great picture reasonable price perfect size easy to setup

I had two twelve year old HD TVs die within a short period of time. I was determined to buy an HD TV as big or slightly bigger than the ones I was replacing. I found one 46" Samsung for 260$ and a 50" Samsung for 360$. I wanted something on sale, certified pre-opened, to spend as little as I could to achieve the best results. I paid less for two than I did 12 years ago for the smaller one. And found TVs through the website deeply discounted. I had only intended to replace one of them initially, but the price and quality of the brand convinced me to buy two.

Perfect size for my bedroom and to play games on. The menu/setting buttons is some-what confusing but it comes pre-loaded with most of the streaming services you want (netflix, hulu, disney+, etc). The only thing is I wish there was more HDMI ports but can't complain! The picture quality is also good. Audio quality is somewhat hit or miss. I often find having to adjust the volume higher or lower whenever watching/playing different games but also not necessarily all the TV's fault.

Mom is really enjoying her tv. Great picture. The sound quality is not spectacular but that is to be expected with small speakers. Very easy to set up. It would be really nice if the buttons on the remote were bigger as this does cause some difficulty for people with dexterity issues but not a deal breaker.

This TV replaced a 10 year old 32" LG TV. And I don't miss that TV at all. This TV is great!! Picture is crisp. colors are amazing especially with many viewing modes available (standard, movies, sports etc). The settings give enough options to adjust the picture to your liking but so much to drive you crazy. Setup was not bad at all. Although I must say that it could be a bit frustrating for a tech newbie. I am not a big fan of typing using the TV remote. That said, the application is quite user friendly and setup went through without any issues. Remote control is nice. Not too big (like my old LG). It has nice matt finish. I don't like the greasy smooth finish remotes especially for a bedroom TV. Remote buttons are easy to read and pre-programmed buttons for popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. is definitely useful. Smart TV feature is very easy to setup and works great!! BTW, I read some reviews that TV doesn't support Hulu????I don't know why they had the issue. I have set it up very easily. In fact I find it much easier to setup than Roku (which I was using with my old TV since it wasn't smart TV). There are a few cons that forced me to knock out one star. 1. Sound. It's very average. I guess it's fairly common with this size TV. But I am disappointed. It's pretty much the same as my 10 years old LG. While all the other technical features are million times better, for some reason sound quality is stuck in 2010!! We constantly have to fiddle with volume. You can hardly understand normal speaking sounds at normal levels. but the music is way too loud. It annoys especially when streaming movies. 2. Mounting. TV doesn't come with screws for mount. Which would have been Ok if it took the standard screws that came with the wall mount. I had to buy 3 sets of screws from home depot to find the right size. TV is not very forgiving in terms of screws length. It has barely few mm size margin of difference. Overall I'm very satisfied with the TV. Briefly on Best Buy service. Shipping was fast. However, BB shipped the first TV via some local delivery service and they delivered TV to wrong address. I got the text notification of delivery but no TV. I contacted best buy. I couldn't get through over phone (stayed on hold for more than 20 minutes). I then tried their online chat. That was much better. BB gave me an option to accept a refund or deliver a second TV. I opted for second unit. BB got it shipped via FedEx this time and it arrived within 24 hours. That was good customer service.

This 40" Samsung lower level TV is a great value for the money. I am happy with the pictures and features. The system is easy to navigate and the remote is user friendly. The picture is good for what I spent. I have better televisions, but spent 5x the price. This is a great television to watch game shows, news, and sitcoms. It is alright for sporting events or "feature films", but if I am watching with a group, I might watch a bigger screen with 4K.

True to description.. we love our purchase. Color, quality, easy to navigate, great value for the awesome TV brand.

So far so good. Got it for our master bedroom. Size is nice, don’t need any bigger. Picture is good. Only small annoyance is that the remote buttons don’t light up when pressed. So at night in the dark it can be hard to find the right button. That silly, although slightly annoying, observation certainly wouldn’t keep me from purchasing this product again.

Really clear picture and like the lightweight of this tv. I was able to attach it easily to a different base so I could place it on a narrower table. I had a 15 year old 32 inch Samsung and this tv is the same size since the older models weren’t full screen. Easy setup, automatically scanned my antenna channels since I don’t have cable. Connected seamlessly to my WiFi network and am enjoying the included Samsung channels.

Great picture quality. Easy set up. Great price point. We’d previously bought a larger Samsung for the great room and decided to get another smart tv for our bedroom. Works great. Easy to use. My only suggestion is for the remote control to be backlit. (It’s a little hard to see in low lighting. But not a deal breaker.) Other than that, we love it!

The picture on this TV is great! Price is good and setup was easy. I wish it was on a pedestal stand like my several year old 46" Samsung because this won't fit on the table I originally wanted to use. It seems like this is how all TVs are these days. Some years ago they all had pedestal/center stands. These days all have feet that are out to the edge of the TV. That's the only downside and might not be a problem for most people.

Just purchased this tv today so we will see how well it performs and how long it lasts. There are a few comments saying that there are no threaded holes to attach to a wall mount. This isn't true. The holes do appear to not have threads in them but if you look in with a flashlight you will see that they are there. They are recessed far down in the hole. You will need 4 M8 bolts too attach to your wall mount of choice. It is a 200mm x 200mm layout. I hope that helps. It seems like a great tv and real bargain at the price.

I bought this TV to replace an older unit that quit working in a seldom used room - but absolutely love it and am now using that room a lot more often. The picture is sharp & clear, and the sound system is much better than the old TV it replaced. The smart apps allow it to work from WiFi to access PLEX and You Tube, and even saves me some monthly fees by eliminating the need for my Spectrum cable box. Great VALUE - a Far better TV than I expected for the very reasonable price. It was very easy to set-up. My only gripe was that it didn't come with the M8x1.25 mounting screws needed to attach my anti-tip-over restraint cables. I'm a senior - and I think this kind of peripheral hardware should be included to avoid the need for additional trips to the hardware store - at least until we get past the current stay-at-home situation.

This is a great tv for the price. It’s lightweight and easy to set up. Picture quality is good.

Most of the programs I want to see are on streaming services, so needed to upgrade to a smart TV. Getting a 40" Samsung for $139.00 was incredible. Samsung quality, easy to set up, and I am still sitting in my living room in disbelief that I was so lucky to get such a high quality TV at such an incredible sales price. Sound, excellent, picture quality, wonderful, and the smart features very well done. Happy and Satisfied!
