Good picture for the price and easy to use. The overall quality of Samsung TV's is the reason why I only buy Samsung. Other companies have very good product and exceptional pictures but Samsung TV's have that and everything else.

The TV is just what we wanted for an activity room in our vacation home. It is perfect for the grandkids to watch when they are with us. The setup was very easy and quick and the "smart" aspects of the TV allow us to access programming over the internet and not have to go through the extra expense and trouble of running a cable through the house to the TV.

This is a very light-weight TV and easy to set up once we got it home. We loved that we could get rid of our Spectrum box; the app allows us to get our Spectrum channels without the rental of the box. It was a little difficult for my 87-year-old mother to learn to get to the channels that she watches on a regular basis, but she learned how!

It has been 3 weeks. The picture and colors are very good. I bought an optical cord and run the sound through my stereo. I had a false start with the sound. After one day, I had to reboot the TV to continue using the stereo, but I have had no trouble since. The sound through the TV alone was pretty good. I already had a Firestick, and have contiued using it, rather than program everything anew. When I turn it on, if I want to hurry to my show, I "return" or "exit" out of the "helpful" band that blocks the bottom of the screen for a few seconds. (I bet that the band would actually be helpful if I weren't using the Firestick). I chose this set because I liked the price and wanted this size and this much definition. I am happy with the result. The sound seems particularly good for one of these modern TVs with the tiny speakers. Nevertheless, I made the right decision running the sound through my stero.

Samsung 40" LED Full HD Smart Tizen TV is an excellent "secondary" TV, and fit nicely on our "exercise room" 'hutch' without need of an additional stand. We decided to go for an LED Full HD (1080) TV rather than the slightly lower pixelated 720 TV. This turned out to be wise choice, as the picture and sound quality are both outstanding, as advertised. We also took advice from the Best Buy Chat associates and other customer online comments. Although the sound quality was fine, as is, we decided to accept the comments of some of the other customers and purchase an independent Samsung 3.1 Soundbar + subwoofer. Given the dimensions of our room, we could not justify additional surround sound side speakers...and did not need them, either. The quality of our purchase and the "price point' of the purchase were "spot-on". Best Buy delivered our website purchase on time, as promised, and Geek Squad Supervisory Agent (James Darling) installed the entire system with his usual outstanding customer service, efficiency and professional expertise. Very pleased with the entire transaction ! Highly recommended.

Bought the TV for my dad’s bedroom. Both pictures and audio are very good. You can tell the difference from other brands. It was light and very easy to setup.

I do like the picture and sounds on the tv, however the remote has too many buttons and is not user friendly.

I am Samsung person. All 3 of my new TV's were purchased from Best Buy in 2021/ 2022. The 40" I just purchased was for my home office. It's the perfect addition. Cost effective, excellent picture quality; great sound; and space saver. Highly Recommended

I'm a Samsung tv lover. have 4 Samsung tv's. This model is a great tv. It's smaller in size and has a great picture and real like the additional Samsung Plus with around 200 additional viewing channels for free.

This is the best TV buy you will find 1 At this price you get Samsung Quality and 40" of viewing. Great for a bedroom, family room and is great to have if you ever need to service your Larger TV so you always have one to watch while waiting for repairs. For this class and price range the picture is outstanding !

Great TV for the price. I would give it though 4.5 stars as it does not have bluetooth---which was discovered after trying to connect a soundbar via BT as the sound of the tv is just ok.

Picture is extremely clear. Works without issue with our current sound system. Setup and optimization were a little tricky but manageable and a significant improvement over our previous set (which had suddenly died). Overall an excellent purchase.

We love our new Samsung 40" LED Smart TV. It has transformed our Loft entertainment experience. We were looking to replace our 22 year old 27" Panasonic Tube TV with built-in DVD and VHS Player with whatever could fill the space in our wall unit. This Samsung 40" TV fits perfectly. The picture quality and the color vibrance are great. We use it with our Bose Soundbar (built-in speakers - meh). We could have spent a little less or a lot more but this particular model had the right everything and a great Black Friday price to boot. I had originally purchased an Open Box (exact same model) which somehow got misplaced. They gave me a brand new one at the same price and that's the way you do it. BestBuy continues to deliver on all of our Tech needs.

We purchased this for our bedroom after having had positive results with our first Samsung Smart TV (50"). This TV hasn't disappointed... great picture, easy setup, and above-average sound quality with the built-in speakers.

I like the larger screen and the vivid colors displayed in what I watch. Samsung comes with many features! And the price—my purse actually thanked me for not leaving holes in it! Because I have money left for a happy meal!

Such a great TV for a really low price! Absolutely loved the ease of setting up. Picture quality very good. Love Samsung. Has apps and ready to stream or watch cable tv. Highly recommend. 40” size perfect fit in my bedroom armoire.
