Great picture but slow OS

The picture is what you would expect from Samsung. I like the tv but the OS is slow and the Apple Airplay feature does not work even though all the menu options are there and the Apple products can see the tv. If you attempt to cast, the tv reacts to it. There is a software problem and Samsung has not fixed it. I have spoken to customer service and they say that an update will resolve the issue by years end.
