Right now I would suggest the company remove the clock off the settings so u can put it on what u want. We had to remove auto because it kept going from brightness to dim every day. The remote is still going from 8 volume to 3 auto.

This was a Christmas gift for my mother and she absolutely lives the television. The clarity of the picture and the vividness and brightness of the colors has really enhanced her experience watching her favorite shows.

Good quality TV for a great price. Easy to set up. Compatible with Samsung Smart View feature so it can display video with sound from another source - I use it with a tablet. Very convenient!

Good picture, easy setup, but for some reason didn't recognize my Samsung profile. Seems like a big difference between some of the channels as far as how dark or light the image is. I might need to adjust the settings more, but overall, I have no complaints.

Very pleased with the Samsung 40" Smart TV. Was dreading the setup as my first experience with a Smart TV was dreadful. This setup was basically click and go. What an improvement! If you use a soundbar in front of TV, you may have to elevate the base legs on this model. Our Bose soundbar was about 1.5" too high, but hubby trimmed and painted a board to rectify situation.

I finally decided it was time to upgrade my old 27” TV and saw this gem with all of the features at a terrific price. It took a couple of hours to set it up properly, hook up to cable box. I still need to hook it up to my AV receiver, but the picture and features are what I wanted.

We've always had good luck with Samsung TVs, and this one is no exception. Simple setup out of the box, great picture quality, easy to connect with cable box/remote and DVD player. Great value for the price.

The 40 inch Samsung Smart HD TV delivers a crisp clear picture. The tv was very easy to setup for an over-the-air antenna. Would definitely purchase again!

This TV is excellent! It has an exceptional picture. The quality is outstanding, I have truly enjoyed this purchase it has plenty of options and I rate it a 5 and highly recommend to everyone.

Television has nice picture and refresh rate. Setting it up with WiFi limits the password to 12 characters. May require you to change password to be within 12 characters. Why they do this is a mystery.

This TV has a GREAT picture and is easy to use. I really enjoy my old movies on this set. The clarity and depth are amazing.

The quality of the Samsung -40" Class series is superb. You enjoy great picture definition at a bargain price. it has all the qualities of the more high end models. I would most definitely recommended.

This is a very good television. While slightly less user friendly than Roku, the overall quality seems a step up.
