Contrary to what other reviews have said, you CAN use Amazon Alexa to turn on the TV. First, the TV needs to be connected to the Internet with a wired connection, a Wifi connection won't work. The "Smart Things" app must be installed on your smartphone and set up to work with Alexa. Then say: "Alexa, turn on the TV using smart things app."

This was a great purchase. It is now mounted on the wall in the bedroom. A great addition to the room

I was surprised that the tv did not have capability of voice selection of channels to watch. Also it starts with a whole bunch of Vevo or something and it is difficult to navigage with the remote.

The TV works find and the color is great. But now I have little pits all over the screen? I have no idea how that happened.

I love this brand name and pretty much have a samsung tv in all my rooms accept my front room and one bedrooms.

I'm a long time Samsung user, so overall happy with the TV, same Samsung quality. I a little confused about streaming and whether I'm haviing issues with the TV or the Xfinity router/modem or YouTube TV. Definitely not as smooth as cable.

I found this TV that was recommended from the store staff to be a really nice TV in it's class.

I clearly bought the wrong TV. This one says it’s smart, but it’s not. It’s infrared instead of Bluetooth, so it doesn’t connect to Alexa. It doesn’t have voice control. And the remote is a nightmare. I tried to exchange the remote for a simpler one, but it won’t work. It turns out this is an old style. I wish I had known.
