Loved it, but....

Bought it near our home in Papillon, NE, and took to my Dad in Quincy, IL shortly thereafter. Well, it's only been set up for 2 weeks now, by a Dish Satellite TV tech, and twice when we first turned it on, there was a loud roaring sound! Immediately turned it off. Went and turned on a different TV and it was fine. Came back and turned this new one on and then it was ok. This has happened twice now and it's a new TV! Dish guy said to return it. But of course, it was now slightly after the return date. What to do? Is this going to keep happening? Is it a known problem with this TV? Is there a fix?

Its light so if I mounted it, it would have been so easy. The kids set it up. Not me. Picture is pretty good. As is the sound.
