It is synced with the cable box and sometimes it turns on and others I have turn the power off at the outlet and then it will turn on.

Straightforward TV

Wasn't looking for something super fancy and also needed to have decent speaker power, which eliminated all of the "off-brand" TV units. Overall, it's exactly what I was looking for. It has a high quality picture, solid speaker power, and fits nicely in a bedroom. It's a simple and straightforward set, which is good as it's only getting used for the standard cable/satellite channels and nothing more. A solid TV, better when it's on sale (as with everything!).
