This is a great size for atop the dresser in the bedroom. The picture is very good and streaming works very well. I would have given it 5 stars, but no instruction manual (other than Getting Started) was included and you had to have the TV up and running to get to troubleshooting (without calling the number in the Getting Started booklet). Does not work on Xfinity without using Roku stick or one of the boxes you have to rent. It would have been nice to know that before purchase (but that is Best Buy staff issue - WE ASKED about this before purchase and were assured we “didn't need anything else - just hook it up to your cable”). The TV itself is not top of the line and we didn’t expect it to be based on the cost. As a second TV in a household of two, it is just fine.

We replaced a smaller three year old Samsung TV in our bedroom with this TV, in fact all of our TVs are Samsung and we are never disappointed. This TV far exceeded our expectations. The sound is and picture are amazing. The brightness of the picture adjusts to the brightness of the room, which is nice, so I'm not bothering my husband so much if he's sleeping and I'm watching TV. This TV was priced lower than a smaller TV I initially planned to get. I worried because of the lower price that the quality might not be that great, but that's definitely not the case.

This is a very good television. While slightly less user friendly than Roku, the overall quality seems a step up.

Beautiful picture and just the right size. This smart tv was easy to set up and performs well. I couldn't be happier!

Television is great. Great color, sound and easy to use. The only knock is the remote does not have a back light. Hard to see at night

Beautiful picture - bought for my parents to replace a TV that died. Their TV cabinet cannot fit a larger size - this fit perfectly.

Lightweight, sturdy and reliable..This is the 3rd TV I purchased and when I needed one bought it without shopping around. Meets all my needs. Economical but not cheap.

Great picture and was very easy to setup and connect to the internet. Interface and remote are easy to use. For $200 dollars you can't get better.

Very good Tv, outstanding price, but little things. I would buy it again Without hesitation but too many Unnecessary buttons on the remote, One too many steps to get where you need to go, l would still give it a high score

Got this tv because it was a smart tv. Never had a issue with it. Easy to use. Daughters use it to watch YouTube from the app and Hulu.

Easy set up. Picture is great. Smart apps are quick and wifi is good from pretty far away.

I like the tv overall. It takes a moment to un-blur the pictures I’ve noticed sometimes. The sounds is really good it does get pretty loud. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that I don’t find maneuvering through the tv to be as user friends as I’d like. The arrow buttons on the remote are lower down instead of where your fingers would naturally reach while holding the remote.

I've been buying Samsung flat-screen TV's for years and now have eight of them in various sizes. Two others are Smart-TV's (the others are from before that time) but this one has the best picture of all of them. My 18 month-old 65" is close but not quite as nice of a picture of this new 40" model. I bought this one to use on a patio and my neighbors told me the other night "Thank you for having such a nice TV...we like watching over your shoulder"!

Best tv. Love the size. Great picture quality. Had it installed by Best Buy Geek Squad, such professional servicemen.

Screen size is just right for kids to play games or watch. Easy to attach small feet to the bottom of the television. Color and volume are great.

Has great picture and love the Android tv since we already use Google products.

The picture and sound quality of my new Samsung TV is excellent. The smart feature works great too. I'm very satisfied with my new Samsung TV.
