Newer is so much better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Samsung 43" tv a couple of years ago and I believe this set has a better picture than the older one and not being directly in line with it doesn't seem to make a difference in the picture quality...meaning with the older one the picture is better when I stand up and am looking at it on the same level as the tv...on the couch my line of sight is below it

Other than putting up with the on screen keyboard to type in all the credentials to get the online apps to work, it was easy to do. I like when it shuts off, it looks like an old school CRT clicking off. Nice and thin and was light. Forgot how small the 40" is. I have it in the garage now, but if I get a bigger TV, I might move this to the guest room
