Thumbs down for Smart Tizen TV

However, I'm disappointed with the Tizen OS for the smart TV. Before I purchased it I went to the store to see a demo of the OS but they couldn't show me. She insured me it had the features that I was looking for but it did not. I don't know if the newer Samsungs have the better OS. The ads said he had Tizen but the box did not.

Beautiful HDTV with crisp clean picture

No regrets at all with the price and performance of this 1080p HDTV.

I'm using it with a soundbar and that setup was problematic. But that was likely due to a wonky soundbar. Then again, the spartan user manual is of little help. The user interface is a little rough and don't even bother with the iPhone app - it won't allow you to use your phone keypad to expedite typing web addresses, app names etc... Samsung can do much better. All in all it does what you need it to do - connect, provide good quality picture and sound at a very reasonable price.

She was very satisfied with the service of the two installers that brought and installed the TV. I was very grateful for the help that Shadman gave me in selecting this TV. He recommended this one because he said it would be the easiest for her to operate.
