Open box with excellent rating missing power cord

We bought an open box item that was shipped to us rated in excellent condition. When we received it the power cord was missing and the only option Best Buy gave us was to return it and purchase a new TV (no extra discount). These are cords that can be bought. I don't understand why they would not have offered a gift card or something, We ended up buying a cord.

While your F6000F TV may default to Samsung TV Plus at startup, you can customize what happens when the TV powers on. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option, then enable or disable:
• Start with Smart Hub Home
• Autorun Multi View Casting
• Autorun Multi View Mirroring

Slow, buggy trash.

Even with the Samsung smart stuff disabled this tv is painfully slow. It takes forever to do anything simple like change channels or open a streaming app. It also frequently freezes and has to be restarted. I am done with Samsung

Undisclosed Incompatibility Issues

I now have to find a device to link them. Never had this issue with my original 2017 Samsung 40in LED Full HD Smart TV. Wondering if I should have tried to have my 2017 model fixed, instead of feeling I was misled into buying the newer model.

I'm sorry to hear of the confusion regarding the F6000F TV specifications. You can connect your DVD player using an HDMI cable. If your DVD player does not support HDMI, you’ll need an RCA to HDMI converter like this one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-rca-to-hdmi-converter-black/6134312.p?skuId=6134312
