TV was easy to setup, had to buy soundbar because sound was not so great. We are happy with our purchase.

Wanted a 40" 4K TV with HDR and only Samsung got them. Have to choose between this model and the 6300 model. Ended up choosing this model since it has the standard remote with the all numbered keypad instead of the smart remote. Picture quality is good on SDR and HD but what make a difference is the HDR ( High Dynamic Range). It makes everything look much better. Color look brighter with better contrast. Objects look sharper and picture seemed to pop up off the screen This is one of the reasons i wanted this TV. Samsung implement of HDR on this model is not very good but it 's cetainly better than nothing. BestBuy did not listed this TV as having HDR since it's really does not have the full HDR range The sound on this TV is good enough that you don't really need a soundbar at all. It has an equalizer and 3 different sound presets you can choose. If you want a 4K TV just remember to get one with HDR because that is much more important than the 4K resolution

I bought this TV to replace another one that died suddenly. So far, it is working great!

This TV would be just about perfect if there wasn't a occasional glitch in the refresh rate.

I needed to replace my old LCD TV from 2009, I originally was going to get the 6300 model, but the sales guy advised the 6290 model which was cheaper is the same as the 6300 model except it gets less software updates and was a limited holiday edition so i went with the 6290. I'd rate the TV higher if the sound/volume wasn't so poor.

Perfect View....Love 4K TV. But sound is too low. Need soundbar to hear some channels.

I have had this tv for about 3 weeks and so far it has been great and easy to manage.

This TV has decent picture, but I constantly have connectivity issues with it. I have 11 smart devices in the house and the only devices I have connectivity issues with are my two Samsung TV's. Apps consistently tell me there is no internet connection when there is. Most of the time this can be fixed with a reboot, but as of this week nothing is working. This shouldn't be an issue after two years. I will never buy Samsung again as my LG TV's have more than withstood the test of time and the Vizio TV that I bought 13 years ago is still going strong in my Dad's living room. Sorry Samsung, you lost me as a customer.

Only 4 stars because the tilt is very minimal otherwise its good for what it is.

The tv is great! Lots of options anf features I was unaware of when I purchased it.

I'm not thrilled with this TV. It seems to have a lot of artifacts when scaling 1080p content. It has a very slow response rate (dark colors on light backgrounds leave a ghosting effect), and it's not great for games. For the price it's not terrible but there are better values.
