Great Picture..apps and TV options are slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As everyone has said it has a great picture. I can't say I have seen any Samsung TV that doesn't. I was really hoping to get rid of my Sony net-top box with the Smart TV. Well after using the Smart TV apps I can say they are a lot slower to load compared to my 3+ year old Sony box. I also hooked up my HDD to it and it is slow at loading all of the files from my drive. I basically had to hook back up the Sony box as I gave up on the Smart TV apps. Besides that cycling through the options on the TV are a lot slower over my old Vizio 32". Also one annoying thing I am seeing is that if I cycle through the imputs, it gets stuck on the TV option and I have to wait about 30 seconds before I can move back to HDMI1.\ I also noticed some light bleeding when I had a black screen. Never noticed this on my Vizio 32" I don't know if I will keep the TV. At the moment it is probably that it will be returned. I will give it another week and see.

Great tv so far, size is not what you expect

I read a whole lot of reviews before deciding that the model 5200 was the model i wanted. My only problem is the size of the t.v. i did read one review where it said the t.v is much smaller than the box,but i expect the box to be bigger. Now that i got it, im dissatisfied with the size. I initially ordered the 48' but received an email they were out of stock so i canceled that and ordered the 43' since i thought the 50' would be too big. I opened the box which was very light to have a t.v in it and immediately said "This does not look like 43'. I measured it with my measuring tape and yup, its only 39' from edge to edge. Still a great t.v but i bought a 43' television expecting it to measure 43'. So if you have a certain size you want maybe go up a couple inches. Only giving it 4 stars just because i havent tested all features yet. Overall great product.

Switching from DISH to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime could not be easier. Best Buy came and installed and hauled my old tv off. Installer could not have been nicer. Really great experience! Can't tell you how much I am enjoying this tv and all its features!

Just Love Our New TV

Color is awesome; sound is like the people are in the room with you. Chose to have Geek Squad deliver the TV and then set it up. It's great to have a service like that for seniors who aren't real "techy". Great experience from start to finish.

Easy set up - not a very good picture

There is no problem with the TV except I have a poor picture quality. Its not sharp as I read that it would be and seems to be ghosts when people move. Its even worse streaming black and white TV shows that look all grainy. My wife seems happy with it; so as far as that goes its a win. But for me its still a poor picture quality. I expected a lot better from Samsung.

Didn't Last 2 years

We LOVED it at first - hooked it up to his wii, watched Netflix on it etc. like any other toy - my son tired of spending time in his room so he used it less and less till the point where he went months without turning it on. we started picking up again when we got into a netflix series to watch together so it would be our show before bed. after about a month of watching about an episode a night, we went into his room to set it up (Because it takes a few minutes to warm up before letting you go into netflix) and the image was completely dimmed. no settings had changed, no nothing. tried contacting Samsung who said they didn't know what's wrong and there was nothing they can do and it was outside the 1 year year warranty. Best Buy said the same thing. I would be less angry about the product not lasting if i knew we had done something to it but the thing was never moved and barely used and after 2 years it just stops working? Aren't these things made to last longer?? What a piece of JUNK. I have an LG Plasma from TEN years ago still kicking. Clearly this is a manufacturers defect with no help from the manufacturer or Best Buy. Will not be spending any money at Best Buy or Samsung products again.

Model with known flaw in Smart TV

Instead, the TV displays the following message for several minutes before Smart TV functions: "Preparing the TV... Please try again later." See here: https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/preparing-tv-please-try-again-later-631278/ This problem cropped up on my brand new unit with both wired (LAN) and wireless connections. Returning for exchange.

Picture quality only so-so, but can't fairly evaluate it without a direct, high-speed signal. returned it, moving on.....

does not support Spotify

This has been a recurring problem with Samsung TVs. It does have Pandora. Apparently, only the larger screens (55" and up) support Spotify.
