So did not take it to a convention, but due to the Covid-19 BS, her convention was cancelled and they had on line meetings instead. Took it to a hotel room where she and our Daughter in law, used it to have a convention-like experience. It was bigger than the TV in the room and the best part was, she could connect to her iPad and stream all of the classes and meetings right to the TV with out any other devices! It was amazing and so simple!!! Now that it is back home, I expect to get a LOT of use out of it. The hard part is going to be getting it away from my wife! But at the price, I may just have to get another one!

Unable to get close captioning to work with Comcast. CC is fine with the antenna. I do not stream so I have no opinion about internet connections.

It's more expensive than second tier TVs, and costs more as a result, but the picture is noticeably better, and has a wider viewing angle. You still get what you pay for.

But less than a month after purchase, we started to have problems with it. The sound would start having a buzzing sound then stop working plus tv would shut off and restart.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your TU7000 TV power cycling. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

She wanted a 4K tv with a crisp clear picture. We have had great luck with Samsung tvs so that is the route we took.
