    Bought this to replace an older Insignia TV and using at as a studio monitor in my recording studio. Looks great and does everything we need it to do! Sound quality isn't the best but we don't use it anyway so no big deal...

    I am very pleased with the Samsung TV and especially with the delivery and install service. The two gentlemen that did the install were very polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves (i.e. did not let drip droppings go on the floor)

    Nice TV, great picture. Sound is terrible, very tinny. I was quite surprised. A sound bar will be added to compensate. Tried adjusting using recommended settings and doesn’t change how bad this thing sounds.

    This tv was purchased as a 2nd tv for the bedroom. I really like it. I just wish I could figure out how to dim it at night, it looks so bright sometimes. Like shouldn't it automatically adjust? There must be a way... Other than that it's a great tv.

    Very good value for money. One very minor issue with the remote, the volume up-down switch is pressed to mute the sound. It is a bit to sensitive since the sound is sometimes inadvertently muted when simply adjusting the volume.

    I love Samsung, but this TV has awful speakers for what we paid. The picture was beautiful, but returned because of speaker quality.

    This TV is great and both of my kids love it! It is used for gaming and the set up was super easy/fast! I would get another one of these for another room in the house. I did research this online ahead of the purchase and the BestBuy web site made this simple.

    Good tv for the price. Has all the latest features. Works with Google, but cannot control tv by voice without the remote. Can use remote to control smart devices. A small amount of motion blur when watching sports.

    Awesome TV BUT the YouTube TV app does not properly work. It will work for about 5 minutes and then when you change the channel, all you get is a black screen. After much research and speaking with YouTube TV customer service, it has to do with the Smart Hub software on the new Samsung TVs. They are not compatible and therefore glitches. I have a 2018 Samsung and everything works perfect. No complaints at all. We switched over to YouTube TV and very disappointed. So I am returning the Samsung for Sony.

    Haven't used the TV much -- and stuck with Samsung as we have one already and I wanted to make everything as seamless as possible -- but I thought the value was great and so far, so good. We're just using it for regular TV watching but like it so far!

    Samsung makes great TVs (we have 3) and BestBuy is the best place to purchase any of the many models the offer. ONLiNE Purchase was easy and added extended coverage for peace of mind. Delivery was actually early!!! Excellent experience!

    TV works well in the bedroom and pre-installed apps work well overall. The remote resembles a FireStick remote control so if you're familiar with them you'll like it - if not, you've got some learning to do!

    I am a Samsung guy - when it was time to buy a new tv to replace a very old non smart flat tv I knew exactly where to go and which brand to buy. Best Buy made it super simple to buy online - went to the store went in and picked it up. Thanks!

    Nice tv, works as it should...fyi...the volume control on the remote is a push up, push down lever...my wife actuality thought the volume was broke, but its not...probably should of read the manual...

    Great tv! Had bought one from Target, got it all the way home 1/2 hr. Drive and the screen was shattered. The box was in perfect shape , returned it and went to Best Buy… no problem s!

    Light and bright. We bought this for our spare room and it has served us well. The interface with the primary menu was a little bit of a learning curve but overall very good purchase, great price.

    Extremely pleased with the Samsung Chrystal UHD television. I gave 4 stars because the sound quality is insufficient in the cabinet where the TV is placed, so we had to purchase a Sound Bar. Recommend purchasing this TV.

    Decent picture quality, however the audio is very poor. Also, be careful with fixed wall mounts, I had trouble getting the cables routed without the bottom tilting off the wall.

Please know, the AU8000 features grooves on the back of the TV designed to assist with hiding or routing your cables. Additionally, there are a few settings you may want to try to tune the sound to your liking.

      You can quickly change the Sound Mode by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

      You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings

    Ok but the on timer is gone and this is a basic requirement. Picture is so clear just like it was in the room with you. Get a sound bar what a huge difference.

      Hi Honestly,

      Thank you for your purchase and review of the Samsung AU8000 TV. Please know your TV does offer several features that automatically turn off your TV after inactivity. To ensure they are enabled, please follow the below steps:

      Go to Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer.

      Go to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power On.

      You can also use the Sleep Timer if you want your TV to go off after an exact amount of time. Go to Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer.
