    The tv's remote is difficult to use. Very frustrating trying to set the tv up

      Hi!

      Thank you for choosing the 2021 AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your thoughts regarding the remote. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.

      You can also download the AU8000 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website by clicking "Support" > "Manuals & Software" > "TVs & Home Theater" > "TVs". From there, you can select the AU8000 TV under "4K Crystal UHD TVs” > “A Model Lineup" and download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

    Overall a good tv but I also bought a Sony Google TV and from now on, will only buy Google TVs. I have always purchased Samsung TVs and do really like the quality for the price. I just so happen to also purchase a google tv with a better processor and really can tell the difference. This tv was just for my bedroom so it doesn’t get used that often. If you are going to use this tv a lot , might want to look at getting a better processor.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

    43” Samsung . Returned after 2 days. As if the picture color wasn’t bad enough, the sound was horrendous. Sounded like coming from inside a tin can no matter how much we tried to adjust the sound quality. I ended up buying from Best Buy the Hisense 50” Model: 50U6H, for about $50 less than the Samsung. This TV is amazing and blows the Samsung out of the water!

    It's good, nice and fast, but I've seen noticable screen quality when streaming PC screen for movies, don't know what's the problem there.
