Thank you for your feedback and review of the Samsung AU8000 regarding the remote control. Please know we are here to help, below are the instructions on how to program your favorite channels.
Press Home>Live TV>Channel List>Edit Channels.
1. Press the left directional button on the remote control to select the desired Favorites list.
2. Press the right directional button to select Add Channels.
3. Select the desired channel in the list on the screen.
4. Press Add to add the selected channel in the Favorites list
To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of the TV and Remote, you can download the User Manual and Remote Guide directly from Samsung’s website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the AU8000 under Crystal UHD TVs > A Model Lineup.

SLING app recorder no no Use Sling XBOX

XCEPT the SLING app recorder function does not work well on any of the three tvs. I solve this problem by using the SLINGapp on my XBOX instead which performs perfectly.

Still waiting for it to be replaced. Both Samsung and Best Buy reluctant to help. I'd skip it. Also, actual TV speaker is poor. I usually have good luck with Samsung TVs, but I'll probably go back to Sony.
