    Remote works very poorly, sometimes not at all. Changed batteries multiple times, doesn't help. Also, this remote will cause another TV in another room to go on and off. other TV is also Samsung, but different model.

    Recently I've owned a 43" Toshiba (failed after two-years), a 43" LG (returned for lack of Bluetooth) and this 43" Samsung. Of all three, this Samsung is by far the worst TV I've ever owned. The sound quality is "tinny" at best. The TVs speakers have no base whatsoever. Even adjusting the built-in sound equalizer or the built-in sound profiles is of no help. As for picture quality I would give it 3 of 5 stars at best. It has 4 picture settings and none of them even compare with the "standard" picture setting of the LG I owned for two-weeks. The one really surprising thing is that this is the first sub-par Samsung product I've ever owned. Samsung is obviously in a quality control decline. Overall I am very disappointed and regret purchasing it.

      Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the image settings to your taste with additional functions.

      Additionally, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
