    Picture quality is decent for a budget unit. However UI performance severely lacks. The menu is extremely slow to respond and I do not recommend this as an everyday set. This is far cry from the former “8-series”.

      We appreciate your feedback on the UI performance issues you’re experiencing on your AU8000 TV.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try the Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware as there was a recent update. You can check available software updates on your TV by going to Settings > Support > Software Update.

    TV has malfunctioned since 2 - 2 1/2 weeks after we got it. The good news... it is being replaced on the 31st. The bad news... The replacement TV is now priced $50.00 less than we paid at $279.99. So unfair!!!
