Expensive for what you get

I didnt like the remote, everything is done thru the tv. I thought sound quality was poor. The leg on the right side fell off everytime you went to pick it up to move it. Samsung sent me a new leg but it didnt fix the problem. Tv did have a great picture. The tizen system works well with Android phones

THE SOUND IS ATROCIOUS!

There is no adjusting what doesn't exist. The speakers are teeny tiny. Don't buy this unless you plan to purchase separate speakers. It is very very thin, but that comes at the expense of there being no speakers. It is most definately going back. Bummer.

HORRIBLE SOUND QUALITY

I spent an hour on a chat with a Samsung specialist (who tried everything using the very cool remote access feature). He then said it would require a repair person and asked if he could file a ticket for me. NO THANKS! After reading other reviews, I realize that this TV isn't broken, it's just got a cheap, horrible speaker. If you plan to use external sound, it's fine, but I bought this for a small guest room and don't really want to invest in an external soundbar too!

Disappointed in our new Samsung tv

There is no Bluetooth for the sound bar. You have to turn on the sound bar and then you have sound from both the tv and sound bar. Wouldn’t recommend.

The Samsung AU8000 TV is Bluetooth enabled, and you can connect it to your Bluetooth Soundbar. To do so, they must be paired using the TV's Bluetooth function. Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List.
- If the TV fails to find a Bluetooth audio device, place the device closer to the TV and select Refresh.
- When you turn on a paired Bluetooth audio device, the TV detects it automatically and then displays a pop-up window. Use this pop-up window to activate or deactivate the Bluetooth audio device.
You may want to check the Connection Guide for detailed information regarding connecting your speakers. Go to Source > Connection Guide > Audio Device > Bluetooth.
To adjust your picture quality, Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

Requires special screws for wall mounting bracket.

After the exercise in frustration with getting the old one off the wall, I went to install the wall mounting bracket plate on the TV and found the holes in the TV require SPECIAL SCREWS that are NOT INCLUDED. I'd have gladly paid $0.10 more to buy a product that had the required screws with it. Now everything stops so I can go find some special METRIC screws.

Please understand that we do not include wall mount screws or adapters because not every wall will require the same type of hardware. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific hardware to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic hardware type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting their TV insecurely.
The 11-13mm listed in the user manual is not the screw length. It’s the wall mount thread depth in the TV chassis. Make sure to add the wall mount bracket thickness to the thread depth for minimum screw length. If you are unable to find the fitting screws, you could use washers (supplied with the wall mount) to adjust the length.

Avoid this TV

Lips moved & sound was delayed. Everything looked liked it was filmed on a cheapest HD possible. I could not get the outside antenna to even register in a channel scan (I use it for local channels & stream the rest on Roku). Samsung troubleshooting & customer service was NON-existent. The only plus was it was Eco-Star rated..

Adeles tv problem

When I called Best Buy I was told that I didn’t have a contact and couldn’t speak to someone. It was suggested that I call Samsung and I was was walked through the process describe herein. I have no user manual and don’t know what to do.

If the audio drop issue is happening when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause. We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
If this does not help you can check whether the issue is caused by the product, or the broadcasting signal and cables.
- To check sound output, select Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test.
- If the test reveals a problem, select Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Reset Sound.
- If the test shows no problems, select Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information, and check whether the signal strength is too weak or not.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

To adjust the Bass, please go to Settings> Sound> Expert Settings> Equalizer; from there, you can adjust the Bass. In Expert Settings, there are many other Settings you can also change.
You can adjust several sound settings to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.

Poor sound quality
