Two things I wish were better: the sound isn’t great so I might get speakers for it and the remote control is weird (therefore annoying), but I’m getting used to it.

Audio is not that great, to be able to reasonably hear it you need to increase the volume to 10. I have an older (non Tizen) Samsung and you can hear it reasonably well with the volume at 2. The responsiveness is not great either. Clicking home on the remote and it lags. If I could do it over again I would have shopped around some more.

We greatly value the details you provided in your review regarding the sound quality of your new AU8000 TV. Your TV features Object Tracking Sound Lite, which tracks the action with strategically placed dynamic speakers, and Adaptive Sound, which automatically adjusts audio to enhance everything from dialogue to music and sports.
You can select a Sound Mode that you prefer for a content type or your listening environment. Go to: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
You can also customize balance and equalizer settings by going to Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.
Additionally, there are image adjustments you can make to optimize your picture to suit your preferences. Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode.
You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings to manually fine-tune your image.

Super easy setup, great built in antenna for OTA channels, beautiful color, clear as a bell picture, and it fits perfectly where I’m using it. This purchase was an open box item—Geek Squad Certified Excellent condition. It came out of the box looking brand new; plus, I saved extra due to open box. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Best Buy, the Geek Squad, and TotalTech membership.

Easy set up and super smart tv features that are easy to learn/use and access. The picture is so realistic it takes getting used to! Love that the smart hub integrates many streaming sources I subscribe to so bypasses need to use Chromecast or other device thru iphone/ipad. The remote is super simple and wonderfully intuitive (though lack of myriad buttons at first had me thinking otherwise)--currently my fave remote by far.
