The picture is excellent and the controls are so easy to use. I do want to get an antenna to extend the opportunities of this fine set.

Beautiful picture but poor audio

Purchased a Samsung sound bar and that helped but still disappointed with that part of the tv. Would have been nice if it had better working audio control options and also RCA connections. Would have rated 5 stars, but due to the audio portion no. Audio is not consistent (particularly annoying up and down loud when watching movies) and unenjoyable even with added sound bar via optical cable. Perhaps if connected to a larger surround sound system with good controls it might overcome these issues - if that would do it, I would recommend this TV.

Found programming the remote to my current device provider a little challenging but finally got it set up. Like the slimness of the unit compared to prior model that was replaced.

I know it’s a remote but it should be simple. It should not take a roadmap to get to where I want to be.

Thank you for purchasing the 2021 43" AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your review. Your thoughts regarding the remote are important to us and will be shared with our product teams.
Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.
You can download the AU8000 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website by clicking "Support" > "Manuals & Software" > "TVs & Home Theater" > "TVs". From there, you can select the AU8000 TV under "Crystal UHD TVs” > “A Model Lineup" and download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Set-up is somewhat complex if you want to use all it's features, especially the remote. I would prefer it had a swivel stand.

I set it up so that it could also be controlled by Alexa and it hasn't disappointed. I looked on the internet for the best picture settings for this model, found some, applied the settings and walla! I also paired a bluetooth speaker with it because the tv speaker(s) are weak. It's mainly used in the bedroom while working from home and I fully satisfied.

The worst speaker I’ve ever heard on a TV. Using in a bedroom so was hoping not to need to add a sound bar, but had to at added cost. Also, I recently purchased a another well-known brand for a different room, with excellent speaker and similar picture. But the Samsung made me go through menu after menu in setup asking all kinds of questions, before setup was complete. It seemed annoying and intrusive. The other brand name was easy to get going in minutes. Finally, needed tech help and Samsung was immediate responsive by phone.
