Picture quality is very nice when watching the Samsung channels offered. Sound quality is good for a small room but when you're use to 5.1 or 7.1, it sounds very flat - so I added an old iPod HiFi speaker via an optical cable which adds a lot to the TV.

A Good Deal

I installed one myself but it was a New curve of learning. Every new item that you buy now are with the new tech. The second TV remote caused problems so called the Geeks and they found the problem, fixed it and installed the second TV. So.....I'm a HAPPY CAMPER NOW with all my Hair!!

Thank you for choosing the 2021 AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for your review. There are several volume features you can adjust to your liking.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.
2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
Also, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.
